Bugs & Chilly Willy in Frigid Hare 1949. Acrylic on wood 8 x 10
Chilly Willy crying ice cubes is one of those cartoon moments you can't forget. You really feel fo the little fellows his bowtie & top hat. It turns Bugs into a 'babysitter' after a wrong turn at Albuquerque.. and ends with him staying with Chilly Willy for a few months, as they walk off into the Northern lights. Chilly Willy doesn't speak but gets into enough trouble simply for being a sweet little tasty penguin (that resembles a chicken) to a big hungry Eskimo.
One more for the wall - 6 (so far) in all! Have an enjoyable Saturday .. perhaps start it with some classic cartoons!
