Preferably walk in nature - it's proven good for your mental health. It's why they are planting more trees in cities- now. It's why God put me, exactly where I am meant to be.

Norm and I arguing, and No- it's not 'just covid', it's the same arguments we have had for 30 years. I ask him - Are you happy?? He claims yes, but behaves the opposite. Norms parents divorce when they were 72, his mom told me she just couldn't take it any longer, she just wanted 'peace'. I get it. Imagine how many marriages will be over as soon, the pandemic was absolutely a test for relationships on many levels. People think being alone is terrible, I disagree. Being with someone who has no respect for you or your opinions - is worse. Arguing day after day is worse. I know many who feel like this after only 3 or 5 years let alone 30. When our country/legal system doesn't make us jump through hoops for a divorce - the numbers will speak for themselves.
We don't speak for days at a time. Some might think it's cruel to go without communicating, again - I disagree. I've experienced years of arguing over the same stupid stuff. I give up, rather than argue. Silence is better than bullshit. Even the dogs agree. For anyone who judges me & thinks I'm wrong- give it 30 years in a relationship, then lets have the conversation. Who wants to throw the first rock?
Before we moved here, I provided Norm the option of getting a divorce, he claimed that is not what he wanted. I don't think he knows, what he wants.

Today - in silence... I'll focus on my own happiness painting and creating which brings me joy. It's not always an easy task, it takes work & focus & not to react. Asking God for strength too. GrateFULL everyday to be here - to witness tiny creatures that look like masks, surrounded by nature mushrooms & trees... reminded of the creators creations.
Do what makes yourself happy - others just have to figure it out on their own.
