Time is flying by as are the bluejays!
One day easily turns into another & everyday is an adventure & lesson - in something.
4 months we've been here! Already. From summer to fall to winter - it's here!
I love every flake surrounding me - icy & human. lol
Theres a flash of blue - with the snow and trees for a backdrop the birds pop on the canvas of the forest. I have a feathered family and a few really cheeky birds that visit regular and even peek in my window when I slack with my bird feeding - the little cheeky beek and eyes searching the room for me, makes me laugh out loud. Inspired I painted this jay on a wooden panel - acrylic. I can't stop watching the jays- partly because we moved the bird feeder - closer to my studio window. Yellow belly nuthatches, wood peckers Jays- and birds I have not seen before -inspiration literally > out the window. Take a look!
Below are a few photos of the process and some bluejays taken outside my bedroom window.. when I want to take a break or have a nap, I put out some peanuts and get ready for quality, educational & entertaining - Bird T.V.
We've not been able to access the www for a few weeks - due to the internet provider we've signed with "Explornet" - soon to un- sign with & we'll switch to Bell as everyone tells us 'that's the way to go up here if you want decent internet service. More about #myhaliburton soon! I'm starting to slowly meet others and check out my new neighbours, feathered and human.
