Blue Moon. 8 x 8 gouache on black
Tonight, hopefully you'll catch a glimpse of a rare blue supermoon -Tonight & Tomorrow.. not again seen until 2037.
I used metallic paint in this image but it doesn't scan well. I hope the sky is cloud free to see it in all it's glory!
It is said: 'The full moon in Pisces on Aug 30 is the most mystical full moon of the year."
For those who don't believe - that's your loss, humans have believed in the moon & stars since the beginning of time.
Stars placed perfectly by the king of the Universe to help us 'find our way', then & now.
I plan on utilizing the energy of the potent Super Full Moon to supercharge manifestations, release what is holding me back, and embrace new opportunities.'
I paint with water from the rain barrel rather than the tap' because it's a gift'. A natural blessing that activates my paint, and allows me to create. I'll have some special water set out to use over the winter- blessed by the moonlight. Don't forget to Look Up tonight and witness the super blue moon and pray some wonderful intentions into the universe. Why not!
Ask, believe & wait to receive. I think I'll paint another moon this day so I can ponder even further, as to the miracles of the moon. I have a new prayer I say before bed- grateful for another day:
Blessed are you Lord God, King of the universe & creator of dogs!
