Blue monkey Monday... gouache on white 8 x 8 .
Don't be a blue monkey... choose to heal yourself. Painted with HIMI gouache which is more affordable than WN and the more I use it the better I get. It does have a different consistency but I find I -'explore more' using it. This blue monkey just appeared, I was at my desk and forced myself to aint after being in a tiny rut for a few days. I recently visited my Dr. for pain medication, lately the chronic pain from my TN, 24 hours a day, to the point it wakes me from sleep... I need relief.
It's become so intense I can't watch anything with subtitles after 4 as it's practically impossible, even reading is a chore when it's most intense... yes, it had me feeling a bit blue - physically mostly. The problem is with constant physical pain, it naturally wears you down and I also became emotional exhausted. Not depressed - as I know what's got me feeling the way I do - pain. I attribute the lack of depression (thank God) to my occasional micro dosing with psilocybin, it keeps me 'hopeful, inspired, aware & painting. It's a choice NOT to BE a Blue Monkey. Oddly enough, when painting this -Storm was making pizza & did not see what I was painting, then he played of all things: Blue Monday by New order (a classic favourite of Mine - need a boost to get moving - play that song.. & I also painted him on Monday. Meant to BE.
Speaking of aware - I watched a documentary & you (we) should all be aware -it's called: The great Awakening. - on Youtube... lots about our current 'leader' & favourite boytoy of WEF Clause Schwab (his dad worked for Hitler), it's informative and ends hopeful. Change is on the way. CS talks about building trust... hmmm, some feel less trustful after watching these world leaders behaviour, especially Trudeau.
I've learned some people don't want to know. They are fear full & the bible tells us constantly - Do Not be Afraid.
Be prepared. Be Aware. Here was an interesting video I also watched - enlightening to be sure!:
6 stages of an empire - and what we can do about what's going on: People don't know what's coming...
Knowledge is power! Better to know and prepare than live in denial.
3 projects on my desk - yay!
