I spied this wooden puzzel and 'thought' - Hey, that would be fun! & easy.
Ha. Did I realize I had 6 paintings.. 7 including the base... nope.
I did it & yes, I really enjoyed painting it with a Bear theme - a bear in every image.
Was it easy - NO. For several reasons.
All sides are not created equal, some are smooth, some absorb paint others are difficult to get detail. Paint bleeds over the edeges no matter how careful you try to be & I will spend a good hour' touching it all up - getting the paint the right shades. Still - how cool is this one of a kind puzzle? Beary.
I will clear coat it - that will take a while to dry properly & then put it on the coffee table!
I played with it today & had some difficulty & I made it. lol I'm pleased with this project.
In between portraits. It's a perfect chunky puzzle for a rainy day- any day & 6 paintings!
I don't get how one country goes into lock down & we don't seem to be even phazed.
It will be a relief to many when they do start to figure out exactly what the numbers are.
I've been reading about the stock market, oil prices, propane and overall grocories to go ^^^ perhaps we can blame it on the Co -19 Virus, the railines... or perhaps Greed.
We should learn very quickly, things must change. I don't get events like 'Spanabis' currently going on (in Spain) not re-scheduling. Not only will attendance be bad so, why waste the time & money & it's an opportunity to the virus to spread - why not just take a break for a few weeks? $$$ That's why not. Everyone is invested and overspending. Most everyone.
Most don't have $ to get groceries for 3 weeks quarantine - let alone worry about canceled trips. Many will get fired if they miss 3 weeks work - lets hope not. Yet... the 'party' must go on, appears the current mentality.
Airlines are cancelling insurance as well as insurance companies cancelling trip insurance - so if you think your getting a deal - flying to 'ANYWHERE' right now- you better hope you don't get stuck over there in a lockdown for months. Private jet flights are up. Go figure.
Oh well, if you got it - may as well spend it. I can't say 'if' I had it, I wouldn't be flying my family to a deserted island for a couple of months... because I might. Who knowns, until you are put into these situations. I wish we we not in this situation but Netflix predicted it after all, with pandemic. lol
I won't be booking any trips, anytime soon. Today was a lovely day in the sunshine & in the rain... the birds were busy. I've never been so amazed with watching snow & ice melt.
Our driveway is a sheet of ice - even the UPS doesn't dare.. for fear of getting stuck.
We are keeping busy & enjoying the fire, watching snow melt and imagining green sprouting as it does - every year.
Stay safe.. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. Sing a song.. the A,B, C.s
If you have a cold or are not feeling well - Stay in and do a puzzle!
