What ever floats your goat.. do it. This image made me laugh, taken from a real image I found on PIN. I hope the goat was comfortable - Most Goats hate water. Mine behave as though rain hurts. Norm gave them a new toy - they are quite amused, an old frame he made to fix the chimney - turned goat jungle gym.
We picked up a turn table, Norm brought up a box of records he found when moving and & am playing them as i take each one out of the box- no peeking. The first was Paul Williams - a perfect selectinon for this muggy afternoon... 'Just an old fashioned love song.' Emotional, was how I felt putting that needle on the record and hearing the scratchy noise- pure magic to my ears.
Oh please, let Peter Frampton be in this box. hahaha
Then - Boy George! Do you really want to hurt me? Made me chuckle.
What are the odds though - (BOX photo below) that the 3rd record was another: Paul Williams! Phantom of the Paradise - wow... loved that movie too! If you are a fan of the Rocky Horror movie highly reccomend this one. Talk about a neat afternoon painting & listening to records remembering Phantom of the Paradise. The added bonus, when the music stops - I am reminded of the nature, goats..birds and bees.
Stretching more in between paintings to "flip the record" hee hee hee -which I also believe is an added bonus. I'll #LPcollection for any interested. It's truly been a fun part of this terrific afternoon. Back to painting & dancing with dogs.
