The other side of Taz.. is what I'm praying for in 2022. It's also what I will focus on - Love.
Love for God & myself - the rest is all gravy, from one who enjoys good gravy! Possibly a bit of poutine, although I've acquired a covid muffin top I don't want to get out of control, it's easy to do in a Canadian winter when your more inclined to stay in a an snuggle than to get out & freeze your buns during a winter stroll. In B.C. you can get frost bite in mere minutes - keep your dogs in & warm also.
Taz ripped through 2021 in a wave of covid destruction we all know the side effects now- especially the great divide, which I never thought would happen, watching people being alienated from travel & life experiences because they refuse to vaccinate, even some who do vaccinate don't agree with forcing others, all over the world - regardless of our choice, we are all in this together - divided we fall, united we rise. Taz has two sides (we all do) the other side is what I hope to witness more of & shall practice myself. How do you tame TAZ -first with music (all kinds of music) he turns from a tornado of destruction to a big lovable dancing beast, a look of love overcomes him and he sways his dangling arms gently to the beat. Perhaps if we show each other some love we'll see more of the lovable Taz in all of us. He falls in love, gets married and also loves a good meal. This is what we all desire, love, relationships, good meals and a little dancing in between.
I am excited for 2022, I plan of focusing on love with every creation I paint, with art & music you can lift some spirits & inspire others to draw or dance. Netflix has a new series with The Pope, discussing love, work and life, I enjoyed it.
We are reminded Love conquers all - Love with all our heart, soul & strength. Anyway, I plan of remembering the two sides of Taz as we head into 2022 which will also help with forgiveness when I/we slip up and I will play music & paint & give thanks for every day I am blessed to be here. If covid has taught us anything its about life & death, patience and love.
Love thyself as I have loved you. Have faith - like a mustard seed!
Bring on 2022!
