It was great way to spend time - painting, praying -Oh - & I watched a really well done doc The Biggest Lie... very TRUE.
About Faith, Family & it's deployed destruction, the history I was already aware of but it's interesting and this story telling in next level.
O.k. yes, I have given the Rapture thought. lol. The Bible describes the Rapture as the event when Christ will return to take all living Christians and resurrect those who have died, bringing them to heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:17). It emphasizes that the exact time of this event is unknown, likening it to a thief in the night (1 Thessalonians 5:1-8).
Who wouldn't want to be included in the rapture? Especially lovers of Our lord! Like when our favourite teacher asked a question & we were confident in our answer- our hand would fly up!! Pick me! Pick me! If I saw people beamed up by The Rapture- going to heaven - I would be: "Pick me! Pick me!"
No one wants to stick around for the described Biblical events to follow. It's also kinda funny..
As a cartoonist & human we should see all sides.. it's kinda funny, I have a doodle with dogs tied to balloons 'to come with' - haha, thought of the cartoon on 'loss of gravity day (now over, not true) and people confused to think it was the rapture, only to be dropped 7 seconds later - the ultimate !SYKE!
Either way- These two are experiencing rapture riding a balloon& the others watch with longing.
I experienced rapture/joy while painting. It's also challenging painting mylar balloons' I think I did o.k.
Enjoy this day The lord has made - you don't have to explain to people why you paint, create what you do.. to some it's pointless since I'm not making an income.. I know the true worth. Joy.
