The Family Sheep. gouache on white 8 x 12
The family sheep all huddled together, amongst them the wolf. Off in the distance the 'black sheep' of the family, still looking to the family -for what- I don't know. At Peace in the field the one who munches on mushrooms from time to time is feeling at Peace sending out positive energy, from within. I've been all these sheep.
Every single time I wandered.. Jesus came looking. My dogs mostly stick to the path, unless I go off then they follow... when they go off or linger too long they are told to Let's Go!' Poppy the tiny explorer especially likes to linger, her tiny white face looks up at me then she runs over so I can lift her up for a forest snuggle, the other day she too was yelled at for pushing it, making us wait so she can roll in the woods. It is amazing living in a forest, surrounded by millions of leaves and not a sound is heard. You can watch the wind move across the trees and see where it lingers.. you can watch the dogs raise their snout to smell the closest creature. I was watching a movie last night and went out to watch the leaves instead.
That's where I'm at with entertainment' lately.. I sure don't want to watch any movies made by Hollywood Epstein frequent fliers, ever. No Woody child rapist Allen movies on this TV. Thanks.
I read a while back a study that said we will become so exhausted with daily pressures and life, e-mail, computers, Ai, social media, endless texts and more, nature & the woods will become a luxury, to wander a forest Retreats PHONE FREE are on the rise. NO WIFI - here! Proudly displayed at the gate. I've often said the reception is so bad, I rarely used my phone and won't be upgrading to a new iPhone. I don't want the chains that come with it, financial and emotional. Time stealers. Paid for government spies. lol. I throw mine in a drawer from time to time and think of the good old days when all you did was take the receiver off the hook'... to give yourself a break. Cellphones are absolutely to blame for relationships struggling. Swipe and move on. I absolutely get why phone free events are on the rise! Bars, restaurants - movie theatres are actually profitable- that do not allow phones, comedy shows as well. No more recording every second you'll be forced to Live The moment! Old school... Wow! That is GREAT news. Another luxury will become old school crafts (paper mâché is really hot with all the cardboard to recycle -yay!) the crafts that help you relax. Intimate events with small classes - to bring back experiences and bonding instead of mass classes for profit maxing. Those who can cook can have a few come to a class making weekly meals. Back to 'simpler times - phone free. I think I'll have a few 'phone free days' before there are no more leaves to watch - until next season.
There is HOPE... and it sounds like fun.
