What happened to that tiny GEM of wisdom? I was taught it early, I'm not sure about you - now, say anything that HURTS someones feelings' - justified as it may be- you can be charged with Hate - that's ALL about control. Hate speech - loss of freedom of speech. Question things and it can be seen as hate speech.
The past couple of days I have noticed on social media- an awakening.. especially around SCarney and his sneaky ways, as well as Ai data centres.. big corporation corruption - all being exposed - but in Canada NOW, if you say Boycott them! That can be seen as a 'hate crime - more like CONTROL, against making each other aware of such shady deals & dealers. It was refreshing to see people pointing out the obvious, no anger, just starting to share the obvious, the facts.
A video of a Trans man - bragging about how some "kids" were teasing him and he proudly (as he giggles into the camera) Punched the kid, a kid, for calling him names.. Stick and stones- WTF.. People justify ' just leave him be', yes lets ignore the fact a grown man thinks it's o.k. to punch a kid for calling him names - that is a sign of sane mentality or maturity? Sticks and stones.. let's bring that Boomer wisdom to restore INSANITY. Many videos I see of people screaming racism' is just another person scream facts- and frustrations about out of control, situations. It's ALSO clogging an already struggling court system- I mean they keep letting known violent offenders out.. It made me think of a Trans friend I had, I'll call her 'she, as 'she was a joy and earned peoples respect & love. Sandra, because of her humour, vitality, kindness - I was aware of Trans but thought of her as a woman. because she was a good HUMAN. I was also thinking - I'm glad she's gone - and not living amongst all this trans hate, Id be worried for her. Much of it brought on by their own actions & demands.

I grabbed s stick and my width' judgement was off, I forced my hand onto it at a tricky part in the trail, and SNAP' just like that, a snapped bone from an arthritic hand- no point crying, no point going to the hospital. Also don't say anything - cause, what't the point. Norm intentionally won't look at my hands, I have to hold them in front of his face out of sheer frustration - and say: what don't you get?
Everyone else gets it. Strangers take one look and are amazed I can hold a brush!
It is willful ignorance at my expense and I'm done tolerating it. I'm the better cook - trust me when I say - I'm not too thrilled about it either come days.
If you are hungry - make yourself something to eat, FFS! I have always liked & HAD a clean house, was always a great wife (obviously, he's still here) who made THOUSANDS of meals - Lets see, 33 years 365 days a year, cooking 3 meals (at least) a day - taking 30 minutes- LOL - some can take HOURS between prep & eat... Results below:

| Between Norm and Storm - No doubts I've cooked that many times and I can confidently say Norm has probably cooked no more than 100 times- our entire marriage. He'll justify throwing hot dogs on the BBQ as cooking. I'm not going to feel an ounce of guilt for NOT cooking every meal, for those capable of cooking for themselves. Stop and ponder how many meals you have made.. then cut yourself some slack. Instant mashed potatoes it is! Sounds delicious to me. Sounds PEACEful and not painful, that's for sure. |  |
