P-P-P-Porky & The DoDo!
What a wild cartoon this is! I have often wondered - were they high? Probably, at times. They were after all human & cartoonists - known for wild antics in paper & in real life. Porky in Wacky Land is wild to watch - an animation adventure. You know it' another example cartoons were not for kids. Many Animators (especially Warner brother alumni) will all tell you - they were created to amuse each other, other animators.
For example, I was watching a cartoon yesterday & many might miss the little things- Elmer was hunting Bugs & Daffy & Bugs appears dressed as a LOVELY (female) bunny reading a book - when Elmer sees him, his 'Floppy Hat' springs to a full erection - tall and long - lol, then slips & flops back down again. Yes, absolutely intentional.
Wacky Land actually led me to ponder psilocybin use, no doubts they probably did. Cartoonists are knows for parties and drinking and pranking - you'd know this after hanging out with animators at Sheridan, or watching older cartoonist documentaries, sadly a few struggles with alcohol as many still do. Wacky Land is full of mushrooms! The colouring, the art, the background - all a little wackier than usual. It definitely pushes the envelope on WACKY - it's incredibly creative and for that reason alone you should watch! I could not find the full cartoon to share- I have it on DVD.
I'm microdosing today! I now know, when I have read some things concerning, I help give myself a rest mentally & physically by microdosing. I love how I don't feel anything.. just better. Calmer. I feel less overwhelmed with all the happening in the world - yet still aware and better to process, instead of panic. I can't tell you how many times I have wished I knew about mushrooms earlier - like the age of 15.
Gasp! Some might think - psilocybin encouraged for teens?!? YES! ESPECIALLY NOW, now that Health Canada & M.A.I.D are being permitted for mentally depressed KIDS! YES! YES! YES! As a matter of fact - I'm going to go on a mission, I want to KNOW: IS psilocybin being mentioned to mentally depressed kids seeking M.A.I.D? Since traditional prescribed medication is not working for them. Medication never worked for me.. they made me worse. Dr.s who cared, talked to me, befriended me - helped. Medicine contributed to a life of pain with TN, now over a decade later - a twitch that never stops & the pain is off the charts - Psilocybin helps me have a day where pain is not my focus. Psilocybin allows me - reminds me of all the good & GOD. Yes, it inspires even more creativity IMO - above all else it inspired LOVE. I think about others and situations different, I try to put myself in their shoes, if only to forgive so that I may move on! I thank GOD for psilocybin!
Don't forget - the first person to introduce in mass -psilocybin a.k.a 'magic mushrooms' to the world in a magazine article was actually a banker CEO. R. Gordon Wasson, a banker, is credited with introducing psilocybin to the Western world after participating in a mushroom ceremony in Mexico in the 1950s. His experiences and subsequent research helped popularize the use of psilocybin mushrooms in the United States. not some "hippie', druggie, or stoner... A CEO banker.
