Easy fast outdoor decor. I was in the mood to paint something that took 0 thought.
I felt like a bit of fall and love Jack-lanterns, always have so I tripped over this big block of wood out back the other day - it's like a big beam chunk, heavy too.. anyhow apparently it wasn't being used, I decided to give it use.
Wedges were cut out where I marked, then I painted it orange on one side, white on the other -easy peasy! Some simple faces -there are so many on Youtube to inspired from - PIN, Instagram, search 'vintage Halloween art' as everything old is new again! I used my cheaper acrylic 'watered down' Orange, Black, Yellow & white. In total (without drying time) it took me about an hour. It's big & heavy- not gonna blow away and double purpose! Triple. Fall, Halloween & winter. Done. Actually, looking at the trees today I thought of a really cute idea but my foam cutter broke (already) so I'm waiting to see if it's replaced, I could make it out of wood, it would look pretty neat, year round. I put some foam art in the forest to see how it fares a Canadian winter. Either way I have decided to sketch Snoopy & friends display - lets see if it turns into a project- -who knows!

The Allison Inquiry is getting world wide attention. Amen. I had to scale back, it is brutal to watch, I cry every time.. for what was and what (suspected) will be. Stephanie Giguere in particular really hit a nerve, when she explains her brain pain - like "pop rocks" of pain - I started to cry. Those exact words, my Dr.(s) have heard, that exact term.. pop rocks of pain. The Gaslighting ' part also explains exactly how I felt for trying to discourage people. I have to pray that the light has exposed the truth -people will wake up and stop this insanity -we are still boosting! I guess it really is -at this point: those who have Eyes to see and Ears to hear, will. Others will chose to remain blind. & deaf.
Prayer is powerful. Jesus is powerful.
I am one of Gods warriors. You can learn to live through 'poprocks' of pain, with God. That's what Jesus reminds me. Worthy of The Creators love - for continually trying to create. I'm also painting 'The Rapture' taken from a tiny sketch I did and it made me feel warm & fuzzy. :). Watch the Allison Inquiry - so you know, so you can make wiser choices about your health & your family. Let food be your medicine.
It's a sad statement that the posts about 'M.A.I.D killing More Canadians than Guns kill Americans' is a top trending post. Wake up. Let God decide. Tell M.A.I.D. to BACK off.
