The 3rd in the Trinity to remind us Jesus is everywhere. Everywhere. The Sun, The moon & The Universe.
No need to search far & wide.. you just need to search. This was incredibly satisfying to paint, all three.
I don't paint to produce - I pant to be in Gods company. I paint to please myself & my mind - painting is calming & peaceful and keeps me close to the Creator. Painting is hope. When an artist stops painting they have lost hope.
I enjoyed this so much I think I might explore more colours of Jesus, a rainbow of Jesus! A foam cutout Jesus awaits also and I was thinking I'd like to make a big sun of the Son to hang somewhere to enjoy -especially over the winter cooler darker months. Speaking of cool - sweater weather is here! The mosquitos are gone and the leaves are all just starting to show signs of change, a few have fallen on the trail albeit this weeks weather looks lovely! Soon I'll bring in a few plants for the winter. Another season here again - just like the sun and the moon rise daily -God changes our seasons.. showing us His steadfast love endures- like the seasons.
I was pondering just the other day.. how can I spread the word of The Bible & I have an idea but I needed a BIG bible, bigger than I have. 3 days later I was gifted a BIG new bible- exactly what I could have hoped for and more! lol. The Lord works in mysterious ways- ASK, Believe & RECEIVE! Clearly my prayers ARE heard and now I better follow through with the plan, lol. So.. let me start by asking you- whom ever is reading this.. what is your favourite bible passage? Even if you are not a regular reader, usually everyone knows few favourite words. IF you have one and want to be a part of this project- e mail me your favourite passage. georgiatoons @ gmail.com The rest will be a surprise.
I will serve The Lord the best way I know how.. painting and practicing what is preached.
A mention for The Chosen - if you don't know about Jesus - what a great place to start - I teared up yesterday watching Simon struggle in the boat, yelling, crying arguing with God, only to soon grovel at the feet of Jesus... crying, begging for forgiveness because he has been a sinner. I feel like Simon some days. I want to feel like Jesus every day- it's good to have Goals. I was watching The Chosen on Netflix but I can't find it, you probably have to pay to watch it now.. I tell ya, it aggravates me to see OLD movies- like - well, everything! Old movies from the 70s, 80s, 90s..they now charge us more to rent than we ever paid for to rent in NEW from block buster. Everything has become about paying - for everything. I bought the DVDs so I don't have to wonder and pay - over and over.. I'm not alone - DVDs, CDs and record sales are UP. AMEN! I feel like a doofus to ever fall for NEW improved technology that will charge us over and OVER for what we all enjoyed once for free. Kids today will have NO clue of how it was and with the boomer generation dying off (being murdered in record numbers by M.A.I.D) they will never understand & that is ABSOLUTELY part of the plan. Go ask your grandparents to share some Wisdom while they still can, it's priceless!
The Trinity below. I have them hanging in a row and realized I'm looking at Jesus 3,6,9. Interestingly enough 3,6,9 are very important numbers in The Holy Bible - do you know why? Numbers are often mentioned in the bible - especially 40, but 3, 6, 9 are all mentioned at a very crucial point - Jesus Died - was crucified, murdered - Jesus is believed to have died around 3:00 PM on the day of his crucifixion. This timing is supported by the Gospel accounts, particularly Mark, which indicates that he was crucified at the third hour (approximately 9:00 AM) and died by the ninth hour (around 3:00 PM).
Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
