I woke at 3 a.m. wide awake and decided to read & draw. Yes, the drawing was inspired by the word of God. I'm going to print the bible passage across the top when I share.
Here's a neat fact- I couldn't find my glasses, so I decided to draw anyway.
I can only get shapes' with no glasses, no details but I've drawn enough to know what I was drawing, kinda.
At 6:30a.m. lol -I looked at it with glasses on and though: that's neat! maybe that will be a new challenge I give myself.
Don't wear your glasses to sketch... kinda freeing, once you accept it. Like surrendering to God & having a pleasing outcome. I'm excited to paint it - challenging myself again using one brush a flat, small.
Can't sleep.. don't lay there and stress, get up and read, watch Tv scroll (not really encouraged) draw, sketch.. rather than think about 'stuff' stuff out of my control - I give it to GOD.. I sketch and in the process God enlightens me. You too, try it.
Be silent- your Lord fights for you. Trust.. trust the Sun, the moon, & the Truth eventually all expose themselves. Let worries look after themselves - focus on Jesus, being like Jesus- there is no other I aspire to be... and You will be o.k., better than o.k.
Yesterday someone shared a bible verse with me- to 'teach me a lesson' (I guess), truly - it's actually comical.. Please, by all means - lets talk Bible! It excites me and thankfully, to discuss the bible - with those that know it. I do know a few who are as passionate as I am, if not more. I have one friend (online for a few years) and she reads & posts about the Bible - all day, every day. Dana. Her faith inspires, she keeps going - rarely do her posts even get her 'one like' but she keeps going - she's not posting for social media' - she is posting for the LORD. Good for her. I admire her passion & Love for Jesus.
Trying to educate me with a bible quote when you have NOT read it - It's not a fair fight, at least you tried. I'm on my 5th reading now, not to impress anyone, because I'm truly passionate and you expect me to take you seriously, you who has never taken the time to actually read- let alone understand it? Your opinion is of little concern, I am glad I inspired someone to attempt to 'fight fire with fire', at least they read a tiny part of the bible- and there's that... someone - anyone who reads the bible with the sole intent to use it hurtfully, you are missing the POINT. What would Jesus do? You just proved, you don't have a clue. That's no worse than those who try to shame homosexuals with a couple of tiny passages out of an entire book. God, Jesus & The Holy Spirit are very clear about Gossips and Liars, who are indeed mentioned frequently in the bible. Familiar 'traits' shared by almost everyone that displease the Lord, gossip & lying.
Prove me wrong- Please, I encourage you.. read it and prove me wrong.
Like all lessons the absurdity of it- now, an enlightening moment, a lesson appreciated. A reminder of MY Faith, my conviction.. my strength - with God I can do anything and everything. Above all, NEVER forget- others see & hear what they choose to believe, what is easier for them - God see's the Heart. God knows your intentions. God knows my intentions and what's in my heart... yours too. Feeling hated? .... they hated Jesus too - the perfect sinless man - hated.
I started this day in prayer, feeling awake & alive and appreciative of another day to "paint useless doodles" ... another comment I got, when I went to my desk to paint instead of engaging in useless conflict. Because I am not making $$$ from my art... just like the time I was told- " you have not contributed anything to this marriage" because I wanted a say in the fridge that needed replacing.. that is how I am thought of (& reminded) because I do not contribute 'MONEY'... I have no say.
All you stay at home moms- doing all you do... remember that. I, sure as fuck NEVER thought I'd hear half of what I have, for over 33 years - when I said: I do.
I know the power of my painting - to please the Lord. Priceless.
