I've been exploring Fire- on my mind as I watch the world burn.. fire paintings are powerful. This was also painted with the Meeden gouache set- which I highly recommend, especially for beginners. I find using them strait from the tube, not diluting or mixing works best. LOL - they have become my "lets fuck around and find out" paint, it's not always negative.
There are so many fires.. physically & metaphorically, it's hard to keep. One place currently on fire is Indonesia, ironically. I watched a video recently and thought (sarcastically) after viewing it- oh great, Indonesia will be the next to experience an earthquake, fire or 'natural disaster' to solve this problem & low and behold -a few days later.. Indonesia is on fire - which will absolutely be a distraction from the 'other government issues' discussed in the video.. I'm not a prophet- I read the news and have recognized a pattern. Coincidence? Perhaps.
Business set themselves on fire too- intentionally.. Have you read about Wendy's', now falling fast in the fast food industry - why- because they admit they Choose lesser ingredients, raised prices and provided poorer product. FACT. They knowingly gave crappier product - all to $ave $$, greedy - and how's that working for them. They are done, McDonalds too from all that human meat investigation.. and who do they have to blame, themselves. It is far easier to KEEP a current customer -than it is to gain new ones. I can't eat at big chain fast food places anymore, I have lost faith in them - hallelujah. This will be a good decision for my health.
