Stealing the tree!? Oh my. This year it's the Grinch - the original cartoon version- my favourite Christmas classic!
Isn't it worth celebrating in Canada - we don't have to worry about the Grinch when it comes to cannabis anymore..
Actually, some of the best news I've read in 2021 is the decision to decriminalize small amounts of drugs for personal use!
No more excuses to throw someone in jail. Amen.
Jail is not where drug users belong - criminals who hurt, steal, threaten, abuse others -yes.
Serious drug users need help, usually the ones they hurt most is themselves, they need counselling, education and assistance to help them recover. My cannabis education one the decade has taught me many serious drug users 'start because of an addiction to prescribed medication.
The number for opiate deaths have risen dramatically during the pandemic.
The number of deaths from cannabis use alone - still 0. Time to get our priorities right and treat each other with some TLC instead of judgemental attitudes tossing people into jail, when in fact we probably know very little about the situations that make some turn to serious drug addictions - this includes alcohol. Above all else, my own cannabis journey taught me to not judge drug users & educate myself on all drugs & drug use.
Tis the season... I'd like to take this opportunity to remind people not to drink alcohol & consume cannabis the two combined can escalate matters & make driving dangerous.
Please don't drink and drive - anytime.
Time to watch the Grinch & give thanks Canada appears to care more about opiate deaths than sending people to prison.
Amen!
