I don't know who did this but... YOU Rock!
Yesterday we went to Minden to get my haircut, and after I took a small stroll with Athena and came across this display which instantly made me smile - thank you. I did take the tiny sweet mouse (bottom left of image) and today I will paint 2 rocks and on the weekend someone will drop them off for me.  My mouse now sits on my desk - I wonder who the artist is.   I also saw a big Robin - I loved it!  I might make something like it for the post at the end of the driveway.

We took Athene as - she is a bit of a destroyer when left to amuse herself...  she doesn't seem to enjoy the car ride  but did enjoy the walk in town and what a good girl she was! I had to go to the bank and she was such a good girl, she ignored all others and lay by my side patiently as I addressed the teller, others looking and asking 'how old is she?' - amazed when I replied:  4 months.   She didn't pull, didn't growl or bark at the strange dogs growling at her, she kept walking right past without hardly acknowledging.  A few ladies sitting outside a store asked if they could pat her,  she complied and gave some smooches too - making their morning by the show of giggles and smiles.   When we crossed a bridge - she looked at me first as to ask : what's this?   The walk was so enjoyable, we'll do it again soon, and I'll bring her big sister too.
Leash training has begun.  A neat moment was when I saw someone I know, she asked what  Athenes name was...  & she knew that she was named for The Goddess of Wisdom, protector of women and wars.

Are ou an artist? Then this is your sign to paint a rock (and protect it with a clear coat) and place it for someone to find!
Make a stranger smile.  Add joy to someones day without knowing who or when.. just do it.   My rocks will have mushrooms on them, forever fungi's...  coming to this rock pile, this weekend!  I am looking forward to heat & sunshine - lol - according to the weather ap. on my phone - neither is expected until NEXT weekend... sigh.   Oh well, every day is a day to explore and give thanks to The Lord for this new day!  Mushrooms are still growing in the forest - I can smell the morel - the trick is to find them, pinecones make this even more challenging.  The joy is in the seeking - SEEK and you will find.
