Here I go.. I want a REAL tree.. this year I think I'm getting a real tree.. then Norm talks me out of it, the needles, pets, watering - I'll see... I say. I'd like a real tree- a tree GROWN in Canada for this purpose... or do I? We already have a tree and it's lit - no killing a living tree like the one in the NY, I never realized they search for the biggest - a 75 year old Majestic beast cut down so we can all gloat at it for a few weeks... then what happens to that tree I wonder. I guess the fake tree it is.
That was easy! See - Just the thought of the tree- excites me. Especially live trees.
My fondest memories are of ornaments on trees- my grandma usually had the best - elfs, santa, angels (I still have one) I'm sure they were long tossed. Every year I make an ornament - I'm making this years this weekend, thinking of HOW is the hardest part.. the more I figure out in my head the easier the task will be & enjoyed.
The tree will go up on the weekend so I can't work with Ginger- who keeps me BUSY as it is - I don't need her stealing ornaments off the tree... It's easy to imagine.
This is Santa in his pick up 'Laughing all the way! Santa lives in Canada (his official address as seen below) & will be getting his mail! Thank you Canada Post- Thank you Justin (& staff) is more like it. Christmas trees excite me but I guess ALL trees excite me.
Save a tree! Use last years, paint one.. make one. BTW - I enjoyed the new Santa Movie with Kurt Russell on Netflix. It had the perfect ending.
*** If there is ONE thing I've learned researching potential 'grow room fires' -it's they are not common - BUT CHRISTMAS tree fires STILL ARE!
