I have a new art critic…. Peanut.
Peanut likes to sit of all places, on my shoulder as I paint, perhaps I should have called him ‘parrot. He has also learned to walk carefully cross my desk and likes to watch, he seemed particularly interested in my newest oar - a fish for a friend.
Everyday is a new opportunity to paint & gift some love with acrylic or gouache.
Another lockdown, kids stay home, teachers get safer masks.. no in door dining, reduced limits indoors and out and many businesses struggling will again be pushed to the brink - after being forced to become ‘pandemic friendly’.
What for? Double vaccinated and boosted only qualifies for your passport, for now… passport to what? Lockdown?
I’m no rocket scientist but come on, clearly vaccines are not doing as expected or promised. The vaccinated are still catching, spreading & dying from covid. I know several who now are expressing remorse about becoming vaccinated’, most of whom had little choice due to work, travel, relatives and life. I think everyone found it easier in the beginning with promises of safety & freedom but here we are again - put on a mask, don’t go out.. don’t travel, work from home & in Quebec - you better be in by 10 p.m. or face a $1,000. fine for walking your dog.
Does the pandemic take a break from 10:pm to 5:am? Lets stop calling it Lock Down & call it what it is: Locked Up.
To those I care about (everyone)- please step back, take a breath & re evaluate what you are doing to your body. I don't think t's too late to say - 'maybe I will wait... ' I’m not worried about covid as much as I am now concerned about everyone I care about - some talking booster #4 - in less than one year, WTF? A ‘product from companies who are making sure they will NEVER be responsible, liable for any problems, side effects - now or later.
Vaccinate so you can go to a restaurant, bar or Florida? Is it worth it? When will it be enough - 7 boosters later? 9?
Just stop & Think. My intention is not to upset anyone, I know I can't make a choice for anyone but I do want you to show yourself - a miracle created by the creator - some LOVE & think... just think.
Talk about temptation. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.
Forcing people to lose their jobs, isolating us from each other with little choice, punishing those who do not with to inject themselves, locking down small business while big business continue to thrive, injecting children (infants & toddlers) with something not yet proven what the side effects will be 5 - 10 years from now… sounds evil to me.
Please, think before your next injection of anything.
