Lent, a time to ponder The King of Peace. I'm still painting this - I'm adding 40 Bees and calling it Jesus& the bees, I intentionally sketched this before bed knowing I wanted to start my day with Jesus, the garden -Spring & bees.. 40 Bees to represent Jesus pondering in the garden before he parted. Jesus spent 40 days contemplating life & his death. He dies for us. Just the thought of Jesus calms my mind & heart , very powerful medicine.. all I have to do is think of him.
I already saw some distressing news on social media so, off it goes. Fires, trucks full of death & I can control none of it. I can pray about all of it, or rather- pray for all of us, to be courageous & strong and kind. Not always the first thing that comes to mind, especially when NOT thinking clearly'. Thinking clearly, would be remembering to ask yourself:
What would Jesus Do? What would Jesus say? How would Jesus respond.... or not respond.
I'm choosing not to respond to a lot going on, it's not worth my Peace, or yours.
I have something (a life lesson) very important to share.. So, there's a video on line how to make 'Pine needle Pop'.. Pine needles, a clean bottle , sugar & water! Easy Peasy! Add it together, close the lid and let it sit for 3 days, which I did - it was nice, slightly bubbly and pine. I decided to let it sit for a bit more. I sat in on the shelf on the kitchen window (just above eye level), it looked pretty' on the window beside a few of my favourite plants! But... Out of sight, out of mind...
At 12:30 a.m. it exploded. Truly, had someone been doing the dishes, I have no doubts they would be picking out shards of glass, that I was sweeping off the floor all the way across the room @ one & now I'll spend a few hours cleaning my kitchen where glass is literally imbedded in the wood (beside where the bottle was standing) . I thank The Lord - no-one or no animals were hurt! We ll jumped out of bed thinking WTF was that!? I'm so grateful no-one was there when my friggin Pine Pop Popped! BE WARNED. Learn that lesson via - me. The Universe telling me to clean my kitchen, after having time with Jesus.

One more thing- it's almost tax time & I know many are stressed, this is a little more stress... still better to know & prepare if possible, WATCH THIS episode of The Fifth Estate. It left me feeling not so comfortable fining my taxes anymore & another story were NOT hearing about, do YOU use a service - to do your taxes? You better watch... to hear of accounts being frozen & wages garnished - to innocent people, because of unsafe practices with some of these companies. & then GOOD LUCK getting any help from them - waiting months for any kind of response, while you can't afford to pay bills.
One guy was threatened by the CRA he had to payback the money, he DID not steal, but they also tried to charge interest. Lastly, to have confirmed what so many of us have thought, 'there has to be an easier way', for all of us. NO- these companies don't want to lose our $$ so they have prevented it.
THE powers THAT BE have allowed it. What else is knew?
I don't know what the solution is >BUT< how to resolve it very quickly, stop allowing it to happen.
IF everyone refused to accept this, to not set ourselves up to this sort of 'unaccountability from the CRA' & the business providing the service... it would be fixed REAL fast. The taxes we pay are already theft' this is adding insult to injury - the fact that it even happens with our TRUSTED official government Canada Revenue Service.
