The other day I grabbed 3 small cheap canvas and decided what ever image showed up on my iPad- (photo folder) I would paint. A cat, Gross beak & Smokey. It's important to paint when you don't necessarily feel like it. IMO it's the best way & quickest to get out of or avoid a 'block'. It's important to do many things when you don't feel like it- like exercise, this was exercising my mind when it wanted to nap. I also used a cheaper paint to see what it was like - better than anticipated.
It's actually proven that doing things you don't want to helps the brain grow. The bible tells us to do ALL things as if for God.. this mindset make everything, easier.
Smokey is also an editorial.. who's fed up with being blamed for ruining the world - for using plastic straws - while those in power suggest they won't think twice about pushing the button. They make us feel bad for using plastic bags - while they blow up rockets. We have to get permits for EVERYTHING and it takes $$ & time.. have you seen how quickly AI data centres go up? Even with entire communities stressing "they don't want them..." I'm not falling for it anymore and I'm sure not going to feel guilty for using a plastic bag - ever again. Some "new conspiracy theories" suggest data centres are not using water but storing it. Water is liquid GOLD. I don't know if that is true but I know people are very concerned about Ai data centres and water. Everyone SHOULD educate themselves before - they can't.
There are numerous actual accounts from people NOW living near an AI centres, talks of water bills rising, electricity bills rising, excess noise, heat and more -all appear to be very valid points, ignored by the owners/builders and it is expected to increase.. so - the heat that comes off these places- obvious to all so how dare any POLITICIAN try to twist any individual.. like individuals in the US being charged for saving rain water off their own property- you know like Olivia Chow wanted to tax homeowners for rain - how did that go over - IT did NOT. BUT let NOT forget they tried. Just like they are trying to privatize water... NOW. The Ontario government, led by Doug Ford, has passed legislation that allows for the creation of corporations to manage water and wastewater services, which raises concerns about potential privatization of water services. Critics argue that this could lead to higher costs and reduced public oversight, despite government claims that it is not a privatization effort. Current Ontario Premier Doug Ford is embarking on a plan that will effectively privatize aspects of the province’s water systems, with potential risks to our drinking water.
To privatize water - is a crime against humanity. To make water available only to those who can afford it - is criminal.
Don't think that will happen to us - in the land of lakes- the country with the most fresh, clean beautiful drinking water... get real. Heres the thing... if it's happening I'd rather Canada & Canadians profit than others.. like Nestle' - REMEMBER this? I wonder if it's still happening. Anyway.. the government has successfully made Canadians feel guilty for all sorts of things from using paper strays & plastic bags, recycling everything - or else yet we watch the opposite for those with MONEY & power - that is adding to Canadians stress and it is a form of emotional abuse by our government- something they appear very good at lately. Stop falling for it, do you part but never feel guilty over using a fucking plastic bag anymore - when these corporate criminals do AS they please with little to '0 concern for anyone but themselves & bank accounts.
I created these 3 to get me out of. slump and it did & now I have 3 paintings I'm going to give away, for fun. A day when I did not feel like creating - but pushed myself .. lessons were learned. Do it.
Today I get to paint clay & making something BIG for the Stoner Cups games.. more on that next!
