Thoughts of spring help me survive winter! Holy cow, do we have a ton of snow! More.. and it slides off the roof onto the deck and I can't see my gazebo if sitting' at my desk - lol I kinda like it, it've as if I'm also under the blanket of snow that the forest is. How lovely is spring when all things sprout!
Tomorrow is the big day Trump take over 2.0 I'm not sure how I feel about it, reading about protests already, I pray it's peaceful. I just watched an interview about tomorrow saying it must be indoors as it's going to be dangerously cold ... 11. lol! 11?? I can't be the only Canadian that giggled. It's -23 here tomorrow. 11 - we are out in the spring in T-shirts!! lol. It immediately subsided any concerns I might have of a sudden rush for our borders. When people fin out how cold it gets, our grocery prices - would have most Americans running back in moments! The lack of affordable apartments - unless you want a roommate - or 12.. Our taxes, our cell phone costs, everything - YOU will pay more for everything here. Except healthcare- but you might have to wait.. a year or two. Actually, I do find our healthcare pretty good & thank God we don't lose our homes when we break an arm at work. Anyhow - it is what it is - God knows what it is!!! Once I remember that - in every situation - I am at peace! God knows.
I was reminded this morning in the bible - We all, rich & poor, wise & foolish - all will experience the same EVENTs.
So enjoy your bread & wine and have a good heart and be kind.. it's ALL the same event, we are all connected and it does effect us all - not just 'them', that say so. Give thanks for all lessons on the journey.
