first piece to hand in the new studio!!
Who has time for Drama? I told Storm - I'm done with TRUMP. The man is clearly insane - he has destroyed America to the point - I'm not sure it will ever recover - even if Oprah became the next president. I don't want to see, speak or hear about the lying sack of ... or to witness his antics any longer- I've got stuff to do!
My son visited yesterday & it was wonderful, he brought dinner- as he has become the BBQ master since living on his own... while here he became the 'Hook EM Eh' 'master (more soon). It's so nice to have him visit at the same time it's like missing him all over when he leaves. We talked about the transition of him leaving & how difficult it was- I read it takes the average mom 3.6 months to get over the kid leaving- lol - it is DIFFICULT! Especially when you are close to your kid, we laughed yesterday about it - and he admitted he was worried about me after moving due to my 'strange mood'.
I'm feeling much better NOW.
A few months later-- about 3.6. lol
I admitted- I can't even go down to the bastment - to his empty apartment... it was breaking my heart, he is on his way... my son won't be moving back home so- it's time to turn it into a studio again! A place for all my creative space at my fingertips- instead of two rooms and a bit - as it is now, it's bright and open and I can't wait! I start moving stuff today & hanging originals I had framed.. This time around- NOPE, I won't be teaching kids- It's more or less an working studio- as it is whatI do all day - every day with the bonus of I'll have friends over to create & might offer a few painting classes. - cannabis FRIENDLY of course! I plan on introducing a few people to Cannabis & canvas! Not a stoner art class to hang out- but more of an actual art lesson with cannabis fun thrown in.
Yeeeee!!!! Storm & I laughed- I wish I could have ally CRICKET club kids come back and join me for a class & joint! Hee hee- If you are reading this and were a 'cricket kid'- e me.
Storm stayed the day and we talked about how great everything currently is- he is busy doing what he loves! Hee hee I was thinking `One minute he's on a tractor the next on a plane- oh the places he'll go. Norms picking up a brand new truck anyway, he's as usual turning work away- theres only so many weekends in year. & I couldn't be more in my element.
Ginger is a blessing- we ALL LOVE her- if she was a boy though - I'd be calling her TAZ!!
She is a whirlwind with sharp baby shark like puppy teeth. lol
It's ALMOST TiniTiki Time !! I will unveil my first tiki in a couple of days- they will be at a local show @ Jacksons point- more details soon.. I've got to get busy & today I'm mailing my first TIKI! Hee Hee! & My Hook Em Eh - Games- are simply too fun - I am only able to paint about 15 tiki- so once they sell - that's it! I've already gotten custom orders- so really - who has time for DRAMA!? Not I! ;)
