Well Canada Post has even effected me, I can't promise 'Christmas delivery' because Canada Post is still on strike, I lost a sale. Which I completely understand, I'd be the same. For me - it's just a minor disappointment (not even, I'm happy not parting with some paintings), I can't even imagine all these small business that are not selling because they can't deliver or all those waiting for items in the mail since before the holidays. I saw woman post on social media, she more or less said : WE don't care anymore, get back to fucking work. Get back to fucking work... #fuckcanadapost a trending hashtag.
The anger geared is not just directed at the postal workers (some is) but at the fact that this strike is allowed to happen the busiest time of year, it is intentional. Want to strike? Do it in January. I don't think the postal workers will get what they want... many are calling on Canada Post to 'fire them' and hire people who are willing to work for all the benefits and $30 an hour - thousands will run for the spots. It's got to be just as stressful for all the postal workers, wondering if this will happen.
I have mentioned about the government trying to control the 'spreading of misinformation' .. I listened to this podcast that discusses those in powers want to do & why - Have a listen! Wanting the masses to not be able to spread misinformation' or Propaganda that conflicts the propaganda the Government spreads. There are countless examples now where we have been intentionally lied to and mislead by those in power spreading misinformation - of course they don't want us communication all around the world. They do not want us to see what is happening, everywhere. The internet has connected us beyond our wildest imaginations and those in power are concerned. Be aware. We are living in a time where we can find out information - what a gift! We can learn healthier ways, what to avoid and many ways to help ourselves from home hacks to cooking, recycling, endless information! Do not remain ignorant.
I use to say 'knowledge is power - but it's not.. The wisdom to use the knowledge properly, is power.
We are here to serve each other, support each other.. Love each other. I think Americans should refuse paying to have a baby, I read such an interesting article that stated - we have always had babies, since the beginning of Time, billions of babies never born in Hospitals - Hospitals MADE it a business. Learning how much debt Americans incur simply for bringing a child into this world is a very sad statement of the direction we went. This world, God gave us all and told us to multiply - I doubt God wants us to be charge for it.
Speak up! While you still can... at least listen to the podcast so you know what to expect - it's coming, wether you choose to ignore it or not.
