Storm shared a photo on his Instagram account of a seed he took - I could not get over the quality or beauty - amazed at the root (shaped like an S) I had to paint! To study a seed is humbling. To know this seed will grow to mentally, physically - socially ease some people to hopefully a calmer state - is simply powerful stuff.
To palnt a seed is to have hope in the future, above all else I thank God my son is doing what he loves to do. Doing what he was born to to I believe... there is a reason for everything Good & Bad. Thankfully, there are many GOOD, caring , compassionate people in this 'now legal industry' who do care & are already giving back to the community & my son is surrounded by several. I like thank people who make a positive impression in life in general, even strangers... I usually do it with art.
Now that cananbis is legal to grow in canada- I can't wait to see all the plants on patios this summer, and you will get to witness first hand the feeling of accomplishment watching seeds develop into plants you will consume for pleasure. Wow! Remember that sunflower seed you grew in JK? Experience that excitement all over & I DO BELIEVE there is no better way than to introduce this Plant children & have a conversation about drugs NOW, early - as soon as they speak - IF they are starting to learn & sharing naked images on line at 8 - have the conversations as SOON as possible. As soon as Storm was old enough to ask certain 'awkward' questions- I figured he was old enough for an honest answers. I also bought him any books he was interested in - as long as he was willing to read them.
I still remember his first novel was Megladon' when others his age were still reading Captain Underpants. Sometimes we are what keeps our children back.
To see my son Grow (in every way) is a gift from God, I know it.
I made a promise to God years ago when Doctors told us Storm might not live long...
God has kept our promise to me - as I do mine.
Give thanks to God & have faith!
Time to paint... Psilocybin art next.
