What's going to happen in 50 days? Chaos? Overdoses? Death & destruction? Hardly.
I doubt very much will be different the day Cannabis is legalized - other than the fact that for *the first time in Canadian History a few THOUSAND Canadians will light up and NOT feel bad about it! Not that they do now- but they will feel FREE. No longer committing a "crime" by the standards of others.
'Peace' - Peace of mind' comes with legalization for many.
Forget the olive branch - the branch of peace is cannabis, for many it will simply be a new date on the calendar, I'm grateful we've been legal for a few years already- other than ignorance of others - it's the only problem we have had surrounding canabis.
This leads me to todays headlines about 'Cannabis Poisoning' (bullshit reeefer madness continues I see) and cannabis overdose(s) have increased. Phhhhbt. It's been OVER TEN years now - I have never overdosed or was poisoned by cannabis - nor was my son - who started at 14 I remind you *AND I never controlled his cannabis- he was permitted to use what ever amount he felt necessary - WOULD you let your child do the same if on opiates for pain? Hmmmmmmm 'Poisoning' - BULLSHIT. Words. Fear Mongering. I don't know anyone who said they ever overdose or was poisoned by cannabis - EVER.
That being said- I DO believe some end up in emergency - because they are NOT educated.
Being incredibly high can be somewhat uncomfortable - if you are going to play- be ready for the game - ride it out.. eat, drink juice, brush you teeth, get some fresh air- emergency room?? This article on Cannabis - It's fine, because do you know what I understand and am educated on - the numbers.. the numbers of people who visit emergency rooms from Alcohol POISONING - What IS ALCOHOL?
