Peace be with you! Knight card for a friend making his first Confirmation!
A young man I know is making his first confirmation today! The card has much personal meaning to celebrate this significant day. First, Storm and I giggled as he is not a 'little kid' but a young man, we both made our fist communion as children and I said "won't it be funny if they come out in the line and he's the only tall one?" heehee, he agreed. How amazing that he has chosen, of his own free will (not a choice his parents made for him) as a young adult to 'Confirm his LOVE to Christ'. It's powerful. How many have been confirmed because it was something we did, in school for a celebration after, rarely giving the day or its meaning true thought again... and this decision was made with much consideration, I know.
It was a long drive and I don't want to 'push it with my leg, as I am already walking more each day but it aches a bit by night - no pain at all sleeping anymore -thank you Lord, but sitting and not bending it is when it hurts so I stayed home. Storm was up and on his way by 4... that's what friends are for. I picked up my bible to write a 'special' quote on this card but then.. EVERYthing applied, lol which was a very good sign. Almost every time we communicate I am inspired' by either posts, quotes or prayers he has shared... if anyone is on the right path - it is this young man - all paths lead to God.. his has been made straight. Will he be tempted? No doubts! Still, I know where his heart is at and I'm confident he's going to do the Lords work -in all ways. It's hopeful knowing we have young men like this, representing the lord.
I noticed a new hockey team up here has a cool knight logo - with a cape with a cross in the upper corner.. yay!
Christ is King.. perhaps the simplest way to bring back the true 'rainbow' meaning instead of the current political rebranding, is flooding the world again, with images of Christ, everywhere & in everything. I'm starting now.
I actually have 3 Jesus the forest paintings on my desk.. it brings me peace pondering Jesus - so why not paint him too.
I'll share Jesus meets a bear tomorrow.
