**POST WARNING**. I am not responsible for the complications that could occur from following this post, or any post for that matter. You have been warned.
On Instagram I saw a post that made me drool & seemed easy enough. Well, I tried it and have since made it twice in 24 hours - Oh my Goodness. It's easy too. That being said - again, don't say I didn't warn you... eating too many of these treats will absolutely contribute to your muffin top. So, all you do is:
-Mix up a btch of your favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe.
-Slice about a dozen croissants not all the way through -just so you can open them.
-Stuff a cookie size amount in each croissant & place 1/2a cookie size across the top when closed.
-Put on parchment paper on a cookie sheet & bake @ 350 for 10-15 minutes.
That'a all. Let me tell you it's delicious, decadent, gooey, cripsy goodness. One is enough for me... until later... lol
I'll stick them in the freezer to toast when the craving hits, if they last long enough to freeze.
Time to walk it off.
The baby is doing great, mom feeds it regularly (sigh of relief) & truthfully, I'll be thrilled when it does fly away. I'm constantly checking on it & keeping my cat inside. I bring it in at night, now in a basket with high sides as it tried to hop out of it's box. He's a sweet tweet & I'm grateful for the experience & trilled I'm not worm hunting every 20 minutes.
A mini renovation happening, has me frustrated so I keep busy & patient. Our life together has been one giant renovation in many ways. The planning, wrecking, cleaning, rebuilding is always much to deal with on many levels but the end results are usually terrific. It's making it to the end results without constant chaos that takes a great deal of patience. Norms building me a 'built in' for all my books, I already see it coming together & it looks beautiful (I designed it). More storage & I will have more room in my studio when complete. This week will be 32 years!! Holy cow... I'm always amazed, another year and he's still here. lol Marital bliss - hardly. More work than I ever imagined. Our relationship has changed from what it was, we've changed 30+ years will change EVERYONE - that's life. Anyway, some years I have not even (& he has not) even acknowledged the day', let alone another year... I am at least planning a good dinner - with cookie croissants for dessert - lol. That's good.
Time to paint & check on the baby! Praying he has wings soon to soar the skies & know, we are partly responsible for this baby continuing on it's adventure! Oh the places he'll go.
Enjoy this day the Lord has made!
