Champion.. well I got caught up in the boxing match, hard not to.. I watched the lead up on Netflix while sketching and learned a few things. Mike Tyson started fighting over someone killing his pet bird, when just a kid. He also grew up very poor, has been to jail etc.. I liked the bird part, of course. I am intrigued who will win, I hope it's the more experienced, still very much in shape Mike Tyson. & Then I hope he retires. Nothings against the Jake he seems a bit cocky but that's his age Im guessing, his chances are good and who looks like he can hold his own', which doesn't mean he will win. Anyhow I felt like painting a good luck bird for Mike, after watching the doc. I hope it ends with both alive, mentally fine and fully intact with all body parts. ..." it is wha it is.." lol. The bird has iridescent feathers just like the real ones, he has a a lot of birds!
I don't get boxing but understand many do & enjoy it, and it is one way to keep physically fit and always active, I'm sure the women must attract quite the crowds as well, this sort of entertainment has been around since the beginning.. what a brutal life though and the other struggles, not all fame and glory. I hope, for too many reasons (besides age) to mention, Mike Tyson wins.
What a busy night! The anticipated match, Taylor Swift is taking over Toronto & it's the last supermen of the year!
The beaver moon, which I am most excited to see, last night there was glow around the moon with the slight overcast.
The next supermoon is about a year away.
Lastly, Canada post decided to go on strike - Go Figure!
Ho Ho Ho, F*ck you! Should be their motto. Christmas season again, they hold all gifts captive, talk about timing. It's shocking knowing how much they are already struggling, this won't help the budget, good luck with Black Friday or Amazon deals. Ottawa says it won't force them to work & this might just be the demise of their own doing. The last time they strike was the same time, then just before Christmas they came back and we were all to be grateful - yay! Phbbbbt.
ADDING unnecessary stress to countless Canadians at the most stressful time of the year! Do they not realize how easily their jobs can now be replaced with all those willing to work, for less. There are numerous business opportunities for other companies like Canada post - who is more expensive and strike worthy, now.
Has Canada Post made themselves redundant?
Oh well, if so - goodbye to another Canadian Icon, sad to see it go, kinda.
Enjoy your evening, how ever you choose to entertain yourself.
