I did this painting a couple of years ago but the sentiment is the same... if anything the the idea of mandatory mushrooms is more prevalent now. There is a fantastic new podcast with Paul Stamets on Joe Rogan about psilocybin. The mushroom revolution is happening - thank God. The healing and help they can provide is becoming more known, daily.. especially people with PTSD. They talk about police in particular and how beneficial it would be for them to access so that they might recover from the trauma they witness daily. I agree!! Veterans are being helped by psilocybin in record numbers thanks to education & many determined to share despite being 'illegal' - made illegal by a government determined to keep its constituents ignorant.
Canadians knew about psilocybin decades ago, just as with cannabis studies were done and research proved then, psilocybin was helping people heal, exceptionally well at reducing depression! Politics have kept people from psilocybin as they have with cannabis, many are still in jail for cannabis - which is now legal in many places, that is disturbing. Once again, humans are being punished for wanting to heal, to feel better by politicians and profit - again - do you think pharmaceutical companies are thrilled about psilocybin? Many have stated it took only one session of psilocybin to radically change them for months, even years... unlike medications that people take daily for the rest of their lives.. becoming life long clients and making company profit for as long as they live. Psilocybin is grown in the wild, on its own... a gift from God, the creator. Do you know mushrooms help rewire the brain?? Fact. Don't believe me - listen to the podcast & then if you desire you can learn so much more - Netflix has the special 'How to Change your mind', endless books and documentaries are available, if you choose. Seek & you will find - a better way to heal, to forgive.
I attribute psilocybin for allowing me to forgive things I harboured for over 5 decades, and still.. there are days they realign my attitude. I feel as if they remove blinders and expose truths we might not always want to acknowledge, I have relived things once buried deep and don't come out the other side' angry but aware.. usually aware of others pain and a new perspective on why some have behaved why they do, which is crucial in me forgiving them, forgiving myself. Psilocybin encourages compassion.
Psilocybin absolutely has also strengthened my relationship with God & Jesus Christ. The best gift of all.
There is art showing Jesus & mushrooms (more on that soon), carving in Egyptian images showing mushrooms, mushrooms in art seen around the world, I have no doubts just as with cannabis God provided this medicine for our benefit.
I micro dose for health and it seems to do the trick, I can micro dose a few days and not again for months. I'm in my 60s and take nothing else except an anti inflammatory which I am currently trying to wean myself off... easier said than done with arthritis. That being said, I do know several who are taking medications for arthritis (not as extreme as mine) and taking several medications at once - a chemical cocktail introduced into their bodies daily, that no one knows how they truly interact all together, it doesn't take a genius to conclude it must be affecting organs with extended use - especially the brain. The key factor is 'extended use' and let's face it - most people who take a new medication now, take it until the day they die. For all you non believers - so be it, I'm not the one taking several medications, when I did (methotrexate injections for years) I was sicker, I regret ever taking some medications... voluntarily choosing to put poison in my own body. Nope, no more. Psilocybin does not remove my physical pain, it does help with the mental pain, stress and exhaustion & shows me that there is so much more than this 'body'... there is God, in everything. What do I do when I take a dose a bit higher.. I like to hug trees - lol, truly, I can feel their energy. I also like to just look at leaves, dragonfly, flowers and just be... sitting in silence - pure bliss.
One thing in particular many will say - many who are suffering with a terminal illness, cancer or an end of life situation: Psilocybin helps you get beyond the fear of death. Once the fear of death is gone - it's like you've been given a new life.
Just saying'... between psilocybin & researching NDE - I have a completely different outlook on life & death.
M.A.I.D. is NOT the answer. I just read of another shameful case where M.A.I.D ended a life of a mentally handicapped person that did not want to die (the family got tired of taking care of him), apparently right up until the end he still did not understand, asking for food as he was injected, and studies have been done where domestic violence victims are encouraged to end their lives with M.A.I.D. it's extremely concerning. Instead of offering (illegal) psilocybin to terminal patients, they are offered 'legal death'. That is messed up. That is a crime against humanity. That is encouraging suffering instead of offering healing. We are here to teach and teach right up until our death, lessons for us and others... then one day we die and meet our creator! Fear?... no... comfort in knowing what's to come, peace of mind that I can feel in my heart - that's not coming from any 'prescription drug. Watch this podcast- it will put you on the path to enlightenment!
Created to create! Back to my 'follow me' painting. Praise Jesus & give thanks for mushrooms - all of them!
