Let there be light!! My son gave me a very thoughtful early birthday gift (it's in 2 days) a new lamp for the studio over my desk! Let there be light, what a difference and I'm able to remove all other lamps taking room and making it sometimes awkward on an already crowded desk. It has also increased drawing/painting time - it's bright all the time, now. The bonus is it's up with hooks so I can easily add another if I want to move my desk, no big deal.
I bet 'lights' are a hot topic for many minds today, especially in the USA! Will Doug 'just Do It' !? Will he flick the switch to electricity in the USA because of Tarif? Let's wait & see. I do't want him to, as I know the stress it will cause many Americans, fear even. BUT.. Trump wants to 'play cards' it appears and today's the day. As for Doug Ford.. it's getting to the point, I'm not overly thrilled with some politicians but then, I can't see anyone who would be better off replacing them, so Doug it is. I hope he keeps his promises. I miss Trudeau.. he did some good and bad - like them all, that being said I'm happy he's out, and his family is out. He has done his part & has lived a life of politics many of us will never understand or relate to - thank God.
That heated argument in the Oval Office was also enlightening'.. do Americans see how shallow they (their politicians) appear to the rest of the world, when they have to opportunity to question a president in a country, currently struggling in a war - and one ass asks: Why don't you wear a suit? Phhhhbt. 'The suit does not make the man' - my grandma taught me that when I was about 14 & I'm grateful to this day... just look - we all know of convicted rapists -who wear suits.. no names needed, I'm sure you can think of someone. Then Vance - demanding a 'Thank You!' Jesus tells us do things for God, not for praise - No thanks needed. Does American do anything where they are not benefiting in some way? Not according to past history. Then the yelling, humiliating.. not very presidential'... but he does put on a good show'. For all pointing out Zelenskyy and his past - acting/dancing career- so what. Trump is also a TV star, a professional entertainer.
The light is also being shed on vaccines, sad to say - what was predicted is coming true. I e mailed, text and phoned some friends and family before they even started with the vaccines and said : please don't take the vaccine. I was especially adamant to those who had daughters- PLEASE, tell your daughters DO not take it! I lost friends over it (because I refused) and was ostracized by some of my own family, shamed even and told 'I was being stupid for not getting it..'. Hmmmm, I can reassure you - 'stupid' is far from what I feel now . Am I feeling smug, about being correct - about a condition - COVID, now we know was created in a lab & the vaccines did NOTHING to stop or prevent people from getting covid- never mind all the insanity that went with it and the everlasting damage we did to our kids over LIES. Am I complacent that truths are being exposed and harms acknowledged, cancer rising in younger people at an alarming rate, women having problems with fertility.. heart issues - we all seem to know someone NOW, with some sort of heart issue & the lies just keep being exposed.. smug, happy... No. I feel terrible. I can't help but consider all (most) I love & like that have been purposely poisoned by propaganda for PROFIT. I try NOT to think of it, not think of the words Jordan Peterson said about a 3 - 5 year prediction that people would start dying - suddenly. Am I pissed at those who stopped speaking to me or shamed me for NOT taking the vaccine - no, I now see & understand the FEAR mongering on a global scale that took place & I am aware that a blessing has come of this - People are waking up to the lies & backing off of vaccines (even the flu vaccine) knowing the dangers involved. I had a light bulb moment... I am grateful for my TN pain. I called my Dr. at the start & said "I wanted to be exempt!". He said "No" but told me I didn't need to come in, so just stay home. When you deal with issue like I have with chronic head pain you don't take chances, any more, I don't take medicine that messes with my brain, medicines promised to help that only seem to exacerbate the situation... it was due to my fear of worsening condition that I researched!! Before the vaccine was even officially pushed and I REFUSED, when everyone around me caved. Yet... smug is the last thing I feel, if anything I feel more love & pray for everyone, more.
So LET there be light! Jesus said: I am the way & the LIGHT!
The bible repeatedly says 'what's done in darkness (evil) will be exposed by the light (Good & God) - sooner or later.
Let there be light on my desk & in our minds and hearts. Are you here to witness today - then give thanks too.
Let there be light for our American friends today - albeit, I am not opposed to 'flicking the switch' a few times to get Canada's point across. Time will tell.
Trust In God ... & Doug Ford.. who says he'll turn off the power to the USA - with a smile on his face!
