Happy June! Wow - almost 1/2 the year has passed in the blink of an eye.
Cleaning out my closet and I came across a few Card boxes, each box/bin has specific cards, for example there is a cannabis box (full), mushroom cards (full), holidays - like valentines & halloween, Easter cards, I also have a miscellaneous box with nature, dogs & birds... the dogs, will need their own box soon. Many cards long forgotten painted years ago! I paint a lot of cards and have mailed many, all tiny originals created to share & hopefully provide some joy to the recipient. Some, I thought: that's pretty good! lol If I do say so... One, I plan on turning into a sticker. Then I came across a set of cards that had me grinning from ear to ear, my favourites! There are my 'Jesus & Georgia collection'.

Creating so often, it is easy to forget what I have already painted, sometimes I impress myself - first with obvious fact, I don't give up. If I was painting cards for money, well... let's just state: I have not sold enough to retire on, lol and might not ever, and probably might've given up 'IF' that was the sole reason for creating. I paint for the pure joy, love & to please the creator and give thanks - I can paint! & I do, almost daily for a few decades. Looking at my Jesus collection has inspired me to paint more, I sketched 5 before I drifted off last night & am excited to paint them today. What will happen with them? Who knows.. I do send out a few every now and then, especially to those who might need a little extra TLC. Mostly, I paint them to express and feel LOVE, thinking about Jesus as I do, imagining him (or recognizing him) in the woods, with nature, a butterfly giving kisses, playing with a spider... all possibilities to express the Love of Christ.

Will my Jesus & Georgia cards sell? Who cares? Not me & not Jesus, as he knows what's in my heart & why I do what I do.
Time spent pondering The King is never wasted. Thinking about Jesus soothes my soul & we should all focus on what make us feel Peace. Perhaps, it is not Jesus for you, focus on what ever gives you the feeling on contentment, feeling loved, peaceful & just BE.
I finally understand, Jesus will find you, not I. I can only share my thoughts, opinions and experiences (good & bad) and perhaps a few might be inspired and look further - above all else, I hope to inspire Jesus & the Bible, even before I inspire creativity. Talk about inspiring... Have you heard about Wes Huff? I recently learned of him and have been impressed on several levels - he is Canadian and a teacher & he has 'loving energy. He's incredibly educated on language, The Bible and is a miracle himself, (as we all are) able to dispute with others and back his facts... how he remembers and knows scripture like he does, is amazing in itself! Check him out, I've watched much of what he does on YouTube & look forward to more. Back to spending time with Jesus!
