A few things I keep wanting to mention... ant cards, I enjoyed the one so much I painted 3 more! Building the card inventory every day!
Have you ever tried walnut pasta? Storm made it the other day & it is an instant favourite, drooling - just remembering it. If not & you love walnuts ( I do & good for you) it was creamy, crunchy delicious. We initially saw it on IG so searched on PIN, my recipe goto and the version we had had similar ingredients -so look for a bit. We did use the stale bread, which made it creamy. Last night he made pizza - one had feta and grapes.. refreshing- it was definitely Poppys favourite.
More snow.. and more expected, When it slides off the roof it creates a mountain across the entire deck.. soon I won't have much of a view out some windows, really. I like it.. no, I don't shovel or clear so I understand, other's are not liking it as much but I do - I love the silence , it's like nothing Ive experienced. Winter’s Solitude: The quietness of winter invites introspection, like a solitary journey into the depths of one’s soul. Our last place, people who visited from the city would remark "it's so quiet", they would be amazed here, how quiet it gets. Last night at about 8 we had a power outage & it took the quiet to a new level! After finding candles, we didn't start the generators because we know, power usually turns on shortly after going out - Hydro is a great company imo & has hard working humans (at all hours) to keep us lit. We were enjoying the Peace, fire going, a few chuckles... even the dogs were all so chilled. We were all a little bit disappointed when it turned back on. Albeit, it's a sad reality for everyone I think... now, when the power goes out I think - Is this it? Will it come back on or is it off for months, because that's the fear that's been brainwashed into all of us these past few years. Fact. Either way, we still have heat & a way to cook indoors -thank good, I'm not too concerned.
Heating indoors.. this is for everyone who heats their home with wood or anyone considering moving off grid or to a rural area where it makes sense to heat with wood. After being denied by an insurance company, because we use a wood stove I did some research & want to remind all - you are reading this for a reason. It is a HUMAN right to heat ourselves - especially in our Canadian winters, it is why Hydro can't cut off your service in mid winter, but they will eventually. Anyway, a court case in the UK was for this exact circumstance - they tried to say wood stoves are bad and should be banned & they LOST. Heating your home with wood, is a human right. If you have a fire place and understand what just happened in California... IF those companies can cancel fire insurance because it's costing them money - it can happen here. To tell us - it's not safe for us Canadians to use a wood stove, is pure bullshit. Prove it, I know more people in apartments that have had fires than people who have wood stoves. A fricken hairdryer has probably caused more fires that wood stoves. CHRISTMAS trees cause more fires that wood stoves. I can see this coming to an insurance agent near you (me) soon. KNOW your rights.
Stop fretting over Tariff Threats' - from what I'm reading & understand - it would be just as detrimental to the USA to do so, Trump is a "shit disturber", or some would call him a Troll'... he is a showman and we are all getting a show. A few things I wish would happen here. ONE - he has made it so a Trans man can NOT go to a female prison & have you heard about the Canadian that killed his wife & kids - then claimed to be trans so he could go to a Canadian woman's prison - WTF? If you have a penis - GO to a MANS jail. Where are the RIGHTS of women prisoners? Do trans women request to go to male jails - hell no - they know they would be raped, just like the TRANS MEN in women jails are doing.
Apparently - it's caused a big debate - really? What's to debate?? HE (not she) murdered HIS wife & kids. HE should not be able to CHOOSE & we are all paying for this bullshit to be debated. Most are denied - so what.. again we waste time and $ even considering this insanity. Yay trump.
Doug Ford.. making sure Canadians stay alcoholics with easy access - ooh that's cost taxpayers too.. guess how much? $612. million. YES, $612 MILLION tax payers money -but don't worry Doug will make quite the profit.
I mentioned to someone - Donald Trump released JFK documents - finally . The response was: What's the point, why bring up old stuff? He's dead already.. I must admit, I have heard this response from a few 'older generation people, it is what they were taught to do! Shhhhhhhhhh. Trump releasing info - finally! How is this NOT important? The American government paid to murder their own president, because he was exposing corruption in the government. FACT & time that we all understand, the government is not our friend. Like it or not. Theirs or ours.

To the woman who had health issues - I'm happy to hear your creating - still! It seems like every time I consider stopping, someone messages me and thanks me. It is work, it has not been 'easy' sharing our experiences but I believe our generation was harmed because we were raised "don't tell anyone", "don't air your dirty laundry", "just be happy" -- LIFE is to be experienced and we are here to SHARE (that is how we serve each other) to share - in some instance you might be helping others as we all learn from each others experiences.
Don't let anyone shame you from sharing your story. God has us all here to teach each other, all the time, NOT to encourage secrets and lies. TRUTH, Light & love. Share those and see how we become better & stronger.
