If January was a bong.
My warm up.. as I add a log to the fireplace.
My thumb appears to have a mind of its own. It's pointing away from my hand and almost impossible to hold anything, especially anything with weight. It's forced me to learn (again) how to hold a brush.
There are days I won't even consider cooking, not folding laundry, nothing... not if my hands hurt- paint or cook...
I choose painting. Yes, it's also painful (cannabis helps) but at least I'm having fun!
This way, you are also choosing JOY.
You are (I AM) choosing to do something to brings me and produces joy, makes the time pass in the blink of an eye and keeps me calm, content and close to the Creator.
It's a choice.
There are absolutely days I'd rather choose to stay in bed but I am reminded God gave me another day to create!
Not lay in bed feeling sorry for myself.. forgetting how many, don't even have a bed to lay in.
I also hav dogs, who insist on being let out to pee and played with, thank God.
I feel a little blue about Justin Trudeau, quitting.
Good news- for me anyway, 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, is being remade!
What I wouldn't do to hold my Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Hot Wheele (maybe it was not hot wheel) - where the wings actually popped out! I had many adventure driving that through my grandmas garden.. with my bat mobile (also gone sign). Gone but not forgotten - it is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved. lol
On my desk (below) today.. including my saw, which I take breaks to plan and research properly.
Give thanks for every day the Lord has made!
