It's card season! There's snow on the ground just a bit - wonderful! It's helped me get into the Christmas card creating mood. What am I painting - gingerbread enjoying the season! They are also easy to paint. To think like a cookie is challenging. So far, they're not very "Christmasy' but they are fun, I can see the JOY in each one.
I paint what ever comes to mind ... this would be Athene - my cookie monster & cookie crumbler!
I also painted a few Jesus cards - not Christmas - Just EVERYDAY Jesus. Every day Jesus, doing everyday things.. appreciating everyday miracles, admiring God's creations -Big & Small. Below is another favourite carton I did long ago on the Bible Story - Noahs ark. It still makes me smile.
Sometimes a big dog will poop on the pad in the bathroom, in the middle of the night & when Poppy comes in the bathroom - I'll ask: WAS THAT YOU!? She'll glance at it, turn to me with a look : As if. Then disgusted, she walks out of the room. When the big dogs have to go, at least they go in the bathroom (on the pad).. not often. Athene STILL does - as she is frightened of the dark. She's still a baby She has figured out how to open the dog door but won't go out alone, when dark. Poppy is getting older & colder, will probably use the bathroom more. I have no problem with it at all. I'd rather have Poppy and her poop than no Poppy. Right?
We all have to tolerate a little shit in this life.
With that - I'll continue on!

Have a creative day!
