This Hoppy frog was a painting experiment, it was hot outside and paint drys fast.. I wanted to stay out so decided to play. First I outlined in black - then it became like a colouring book, I filled in and kept layering.. learning as I went.
It was perfect for outside and something I did relatively quick, especially when feeling like 40 - a quick painting was all I felt like completing. It's not all about a masterpiece - it's about the journey of creating, learning & loving what you do.
I want to share an instagram hack for all fellow dog lovers...
Core an apple, put it in tinfoil and fill with a bit of peanut butter & freeze, then I added some beef broth (or you could add some bacon fat) and froze again, topped with peanut butter and froze again! & there you have it: a Frozen, healthy (I used only ALL natural peanut butter) 'Apple Kong' for you pups on a hot day and my girls LOVED them... Athene was the only one to also eat ALL the apple.
It occupied them for hours. After watching the documentary on Dog kibble and treats, I now make most of their food and all of their treats. They love - Beef heart, which I boil then slice and then dehydrate for training treats & I make a batch of cookies once a week. It's easier than you think and much more affordable than you realize. WITH LESS 'ingeedients- they don't need. Their coats are shiny, their teeth sparkle, eyes bright and poop consistent - all in all, I say they are 4 spoiled bitches! I'm happy to do it for my 4 constant companions who show unconditional love - even if they just have sardines for dinner.
