It's a long weekend in Canada! Look how excited Poppy is, posing beside a mushroom stone.
I made several mushrooms stones because I like them, placed around the property, props.. a bit of whimsy.
Storm is at an event -a forest festival! It looks like an amazing time! There's art, music, food, dancing, D.Js, yoga- wellness, a few days camp out event. Ah to be 25 again... I made some props as he'll be selling lions mane, cordycepts and inoculated bags of wine caps & oyster mushrooms for people to grow in their own gardens! I even made a few 'mushrooms' out of foam art and I think they turned out pretty darn cool for my first attempt. I'm mastering the 'Hotwire to add dimension. These foam art creations are a blast and I'm getting pretty fast, even these were painted with a new idea as the giant mushroom stone (below) took forever. lol The giant one is a photo op prop - taller than I.

Instagram/social media break- this week there is an attempt to take a world wide social media break! I'm taking it.. from today for 7 day, easy peasy. I've already taken a few monthly breaks( very refreshing) this one is to show social media they better back off with the bullshit. Purple are getting tire of it. I get friend requests daily, I don't accept - people who don't post- only on to look.& I've kept under 1000. truly, It would e easy for me to walk away, some shit I see o it- I am not wiser for- but the comments people make - thinking they can judge an entire event or person based on one post- is wild. So people post things that are absolutely disgusting - all is does is SHOW everyone else & the universe who they are. I've had a few comment on a comment I made and there is no point responding, clearly the person is rage baiting and un educated s- I don't bother. No point.
Have you seen the Spain invasion? Even the Pope is calling it an invasion. Yikes.. more MEN - ALL MEN - no women and no small children ALL men from about 18 - 30's - thousands -with only the clothing on their backs- who thought that would go well? Not even 24 hours and people were breaking into homes and stores and grocery stores- they could not contain it. What a JOKE the CBC reporting thousand have already returned home - lies & everyone knows it.
I would like to ask for prayers for all the women & girls in Spain that are absolutely now terrified - due to what we have all learned regarding this rape mentality, they have every right to be. I have always wanted to Go to Morocco - I had an art teacher in school who loved it an was always showing us photos - but in my 20's when looking into actually going - I had so many warn me against it-- from travel agents to friends and people who had actually visited. I decided not to go. I was told them men there would not leave me alone and my vacation would be spent being sexually harassed. That was easily 30 years ago.. so It probably got worse. Where's the women? at home alone? looking after kids, struggling as all the men take off. It is said these men will become the new armies... of course they will, they have no food, no work, no place to go. They will be rounded up and offered a choice, army or go back. What would you do if them?
