August 1st! A wonderful time of year as things almost magically appear in the garden! Out with the birds this morning I'm continually pulled to the vegetable garden, the trellis covered with squash growing every moment. The dogs following close by, Daisy this morning determined to photobomb at every opportunity... I was recording Arrow chasing the ball and Ginger photobombed looking directly into the camera - she's so cute! She is the most perceptive & sensitive sweet little chunky girl, losing weight even though no-one else thinks so. I've noticed she has fewer rolls around her arms and neck and encourage her daily. Chairman likes to be part of the pack and stays with us, he likes to think he's hiding but we see him - we come inside and he does too! I love my furry friends.
I'm working on my summer garden painting that's more about the mood than it is the details, albeit still a lot of detail.. today I took a few photos of features that are in it. It's a great day to paint indoors- the paint drys too fast in this heat.
