The power of God, the power of nature, there's nothing like it. God wills it, the fungi Cordyceps sprouting out of this grasshopper (btw there are blue grasshoppers) to help it continue spreading spores and life.. God wills it. God created it.
I struggle with 'God wills it' when I learn about some things, like a toddler falling out of a window, from the 28th floor in Toronto, please add that family to your prayers. Yes, I struggle every day with Gods will. I have given it enough thought to know the lessons are not always for who we think they are. Every day I learn more about MAID, I think... No, that is not Gods will. It sure is a lesson for many. I was listening to someone where euthanasia in his country was getting seriously alarming (as if ours was not) he said if a couple wants to have a baby killed after a few months old - perhaps they don't like this baby, maybe it cries to much.. they can scrap it and start over. It's a new level/law they are trying to pass. There's also a court case in the USA where a male couple paid a surrogate to carry their child & want to have it aborted in HER third TRIMESTER. You know when the baby is in there moving around learning about sounds, feelings, experiences..if you're a man I guess you don't know, anyway... they want it aborted because it is missing a finger. Deus Vult.. on the missing finger. The mother want's to keep it and said they can keep their money but they are forcing her to abort.. is that Gods will? Are we to be horrified that this is happening - life made and tossed as if it were not the MIRACLE it is. Or are we to say - oh well, "Deus Vult". That's greed, ego and murder, imo & some one reading this might disagree and I guess that too, is Gods will.
Theres controversy that the mom would have made a lot of money for that baby that she decided to keep.. was that greed? Or was that desperation? Was that a woman with very few options? I don't know.. I don't want to judge but that baby is alive, inside its mother. I still remember Storm always reacting to the dogs barking while in the womb, in my 3rd trimester. All moms & some dads (if present), remember that foot print or the hand poking from the inside out..
HOW AWESOME God chose Woman to create humans. Naturally. No AI needed. Let's keep it that way.
Especially if they can be so easily discarded. Deus Vult!!

The neatest thing about these paintings, I also learned latin, hahaha actually, I know someone who does know a bit of latin and has translated a few prayers & recorded them for me. I appreciate it. I think listening to Latin stimulates the brain, as with Monks chanting & humming and some other music, I've listened to a few on YouTube .. try it.
