spectacular morning sky!
What's on my mind? Snow. Holy snow, how much more can we get? As I type- it's snowing.
I've never seen this much snow here and possibly ever. It slid off the roof with warmer temperatures and now well have to be very careful letting the dogs out. It's kinda a bone of contention at the moment because I've suggested what we can do to avoid the build up against the doors but as usual Norm completely ignored any suggestion I had to make. If the dogs stand under where the snow falls off the roof, they will be buried or the weight of it - all at once, might hurt an old dogs back, we won't be taking any chances until it's off. I have NO view from my tiny studio -except for. a wall of white! (below) BUT, I see it as positive - less look and more painting (for my new project), I have no choice but to hunker down and get creative! Spring is not too far off which makes it easier to deal with mentally.. the thought of mosquitos too, helps me tolerate all this white forest covering..
I believe the Pope is on his way out. I liked this Pope as he seems to 'try to do what's right' and exposed problems -like pedophiles in the priesthood. I think at this point, everyone on the planet is aware of that problem. He didn't back down on certain things, apologized for a few things on behalf of the church, involved more youth to meet & embrace Jesus, still... something tells me he's not going to recover. This is interesting because many of the documentaries about the direction WE ARE ALL heading, states: There won't be another Pope. The NewWorld Order. (WEF) wants to abolish 'religion', good luck with that. So, yes I'm curious to watch what happens next.
Trump & tariffs threats, Trump has helped Canada more than he knows. Many are shopping Canadian, planning vacations in Canada even cancelling American subscriptions. Selling vacation homes in Florida, which will devastate Floridas already struggling economy. I cancelled Apple and am cancelling Amazon, there's nothing I "need" and screw that, Amazon pulled out of Quebec, Canada needs to pull out of Amazon. Trump also taunted & triggered our Hockey Team & it's famous forever fans - that's a for sure 'Fuck around and find out ' moment - as it will be for Wayne Gretzky - now being hailed a Canadian traitor, disappointingly deserving. I know a couple of Canadians in America for different reasons, I think it would be wise for them to return home before Americans take out their frustrations on Canuks. I think Trump is just talk' at this point, reading about all the harm these tariffs will cause on both sides... it would be far from wise to proceed. I o think he wiser than he lets on at times.
Guess what happens in 23 days!? SPRING! Amen, light at the end of the snow tunnel, that reminds me a young girl lost her life playing in a snow tunnel she built in Montreal, as fun as it seems -this snow can be literally debilitating and part of the problem is sometimes kids are playing alone -building a snow fort in the backyard when accidents like this happen and no one knows until it's too late. Spring - just the mention brings hope and anticipation of greenery sprouting all around , again.
I have a project I'm working on with a long time friend! I'm very excited as it's something I have believed in for a long time... I also have a deadline. So less time drawing anything but my project & I can't share until it's published! I figure it will take at least 2 weeks to a month of drawing & painting daily
