The painting above is a ruff draft of an idea I've been pondering for acrylic. It only took me about 30 minutes to paint.
On my mind...
TICKS! We've already removed 3 ticks off the dogs. Tis time! So, I've been reading & I'll try a spray of apple cider vinegar & water (equal parts) and spray them before we explore, it should prevent them from jumping on... well see.
Rain - lots to be expected this week! Good - great for mushrooms & the forest. My seeds are popping up nicely, it has me excited to be planting but I must be patient. Time will tell! My squash seeds have me especially excited.
Crank calls.. I got a crank call from a local 705 number, saying my credit card was being used. I don't have credit cards, learned that lesson long ago. It's just some person trying to cause another stress.. why do people do that? Is his life so meaningless that's all they find time to do? That's pathetic. Is that someones idea of a 'good time'? At first I was angry.. then I just thought to pray for that person & let it go, clearly they are 'lacking'... in what, I don't know. I don't care. If you are causing a stranger stress 'just for fun' - you are being intentionally cruel - karma will look after you, eventually.. I don't have time to focus on being nasty or even those who are, life has too much beauty and fascination & fine, kind humans to meet & share this amazing journey - God see's, God knows.
Social media.. everyday, I'm seeing things that I find upsetting. No, it's not the posts on a potential WW3, vaccine awareness, global warming, pizza gate (albeit all terrible (if true) posts)... it 's people who give their old dogs away that upset me or videos that some find funny and are not. WHO F*&^%$# does that? Keeps a dog until they are 14 then gives into a shelter, - those people don't deserve dogs. How sad & confused & frightened the dogs must be. Sometimes the dogs find new homes - that's wonderful.. I wish I could save them all. It's a busy time here with spring, gardening and always a painting on the go so I figure it's a good month to take a break.
Psoriasis, I can't believe the improvement and I attribute it to '0 alcohol', since last September.
I know it's alcohol because when I drank the next day I could see & feel the flare up. That's completely stopped. I've used nothing else and the difference is very noticeable and less painful - so for anyone dealing with psoriasis: stop alcohol. Easier said than done for many.. all I can do is share my own experience. The results are so good - it makes it very easy to decline now, when offered an alcoholic beverage.
Starting next Saturday - I'm focusing on one WB cartoon a week, to show you the 'adult side' of Bugs Bunny cartoons, many would be considered very un politically correct now.
Have you ever tried Black Garlic? OH My - it's like crack to me, I can hardly resist it, if I know we have some - 'get in my belly'. Storm knows someone who grows and makes black garlic - it's like a tangy, vinegary, sweet sensation - chewy like a gummy - if You get the chance to try -do!! A visual below so you can see - it's black. & finally - The ramps are out! Ramp butter soon! YUM.
Enjoy this day the Lord has made & if you are getting crank calls- pray for them, remember... only people who are lacking in love & friendship and happiness are intentionally cruel to strangers 'for fun'.
