Inspiration... You light up my life - guess what inspired this painting!
~Was it "you light up my life" , perhaps I've had that song stuck in my head, the past few days...
~E.T? No, he just seemed fun to paint.
~The joint? Maybe as I have been using more cannabis the past week -with all this rain & extra Joint pain'.
...The paint! The paint and a new 'liner brush' inspired this painting, I wanted to play with both so, I did.
I went for art supplies, actually went. Left the property. I have '0' trust right now in Canada Post. Once again, threats of a strike has already prevented me (& many) from using their services, further hurting them financially... what else do they expect, at this point. The prices have gone up - on everything, a 'black black paper pad' = once costing $7. (pre plandemic) is $14.! Don't get me started on paint. I use two of the best - Windsor & Newton - Gouache & Golden acrylic... $$$$$. I shop DeSerres - Canadian, my other consideration was Above ground art supplies' but the city felt too daunting, albeit - if I had the chance and money was attest at par' (har de har har..) - I'd probably check out some art supplies across the border. Those days are long gone, now. I did pick up DeSerres brand - metallic paint & am pleased, good quality & price (more on them tomorrow).
How can Americans be upset with Trump? I think it's just the image OUR news media is PUSHING. Mark Carney will make sure - we only see what he wants us to see. Other than Trump being 'petty' with Bruce Sprinsteen... he really DOES appear to be putting America first - especially in the health department, focusing on the kids & generations to come. Yay! As for him being 'petty', yes.. he is just human too, I guess "us" expecting him to not have feelings, that get hurt (like the rest of us) is wrong. BUT he is the president' and is to lead by example - well I guess, he is... still. Why is it o.k. for Bruce' to use his fans (around the world) to knock Trump publicly, Trump is just using his platform to express himself also.
He has definitely grown on me, we all have tendency for pettiness from time to time. So BE it. That woman working for him -Karoline Leavitt, kicks ass & takes no prisoners. Good. Blunt, is the word, if I was asked to describe her.
Funny.. I was praying my favourite rosary, it 'feels nice in my hands... Arrow bit off Jesus long ago, when she was a pup! Glue would not hold so I use the 'blue stuff', & I was praying last week & thinking 'I should replace him', looking a little Ruff (thanks to Arrow) & my mom presented me with a new Rosary just this week - exactly the same - Jesus in tact. Ask, believe & receive. Praise Jesus!! Enjoy this day The Lord has made!!
