You've probably read about the proposed TEEN social media ban.. not quite law yet. Anyone who thinks this is actually for teens protection is delusional. Remember being a teen? Told not to do something!? LOL AS IF. Where there is a will, they will find a way- it's all a 'disguise' to control Canadians - ALL Canadians, not just teens. It is already failing in Australia. Many DO see it for exactly WHAT it is... Carneys control - agenda 2030. Now we are learning (I knew for a while) in order to pass & make it successful ALL will have to verify their age, in order to use social media - ALL.
When that day comes, I will ABSOLUTELY stop using what ever platform makes this mandatory.. I am not alone. I do think it will come but it won't last, it WILL backfire - even major companies like google are calling bullshit- stating IT IS all about CONTROL. Did you know in other countries you can go to jail for complaining about your politician on line? Of course, that's the plan.. create the 'FEAR to speak up' to 'SHUT everyone up. *God put us here to share & care for each other.. to be fruitful and multiply to ALL look after the earth, the garden & to share his word & lessons.. not to be controlled and muzzled.
I read a Canadian comment (I'm paraphrasing): Canadians have all become pussies & we are all just bending over taking it from Carney & his cohorts.
Speak for yourself. She is incorrect.. Canadians are intelligent, (some of the most educated in the world), confident, funny, kind, compassionate and patient.. sorry - but it's true. lol I say sorry when I don't feed my girls on time. Canadians are hard working - we built this country 1/2 the time in 4 feet of snow! Our favourite sport is played in the cold, on ice.. kicking ass. Canadians will ABSOLUTELY reach a point, SOON, and the rest of the world will not be thinking of Canadians as pussies' but for the STRONG, powerful, compassionate people & the PARENTS we are. Anyone who is paying any attention is thinking - what a joke this is - not funny. Canadian kids are being read to by men in drag as toddlers, told they can access free drugs at 15, have puberty blockers, get their breast removed.. but can't vote, get a tattoo or surf the internet.
We have more kids going hungry than ever before. SERIOUSLY- IF our government CARED about children - the first thing they would do is FEED THEM! Cloth them and help with homelessness.. oh yeah- that only happens to immigrants coming into this country, currently. HAVE you seen what's happening in PARIS? How about Germany? The UK? So.. at least lets address it for what it IS - digital ID to CONTROL the masses and just like CHINA... you will comply or you will be punished & publicly shamed. Who does that?
I do think kids would be better off with less time online- we all know the damage it is going but this is a LIE. Kids who try will still access the internet, keeping kids ignorant about the world will NOT help, it just makes them easier to fool. They want them off line under 16 - YET 3, 12 year olds were just caught driving a stolen car and injured a police officer- YET they won't be charged as adults, they will be treated like children, let out with a slap to reoffend- because our current system is set up that way. A few other opinions below.. Knowledge is power.
