Be like Jesus! Flip the tables! Make The Temple a priority - not the stuff. Consumerism is a Christ killer.
Living to accumulate treasures/stuff kills the concept of living for Christ.
The Ethiopian bible.. it doesn't take a genius to figure out why - it was.. suppressed - hidden.
I have ordered mine to read & I can not wait. Jesus was fond of all his apostles, especially Mary. Yep, you read that right.
Mary M was one of the wisest confidants of Jesus - a woman with compassion & wisdom - above the others.
Jesus also warns of rulers of the world and their lies... when the people are poor & suffer, it's a sign our rulers are evil.. no kidding. It also explains how humanity learned some things, we should not have.. taught by angels - rouge angels.
Most importantly.. Jesus after resurrection, walked the earth for 40 days. It's fascinating and I find myself awestruck at just the idea of most of what I am learning. Hard to believe at times - of course & that too was INTENTIONAL.
Jesus on the cross is difficult to paint. I went with red for my base sketching colour - the colour of blood. Jesus is on my desk and in my heart and on my mind as I paint and when I don't paint. You might say, I'm obsessed. Amen!
Forever... years, like others - I was obsessed with ... CRAP. When younger I was obsessed with 'movie stars' now know for being child rapists and SICK fucks that eat babies.. baby Jerky. The hate/karma going towards these demons will destroy them all, wait & see. Now, I think of them and want to puke. Amen Jesus!
People think the bible is all about forgiveness - no, Jesus tells us who to avoid and why and it's all about demons... evil that runs into pigs and throws itself over a cliff.. I think we're at the pigs running towards the cliff stage. Yay.
I use to be obsessed with shoes, outfits, & appearance. 'Toys' & treats, our money went as fast as it arrived... the more I found Jesus the less of everything else was desired. I feel lucky to be here (here mentally. emotionally) here' where I walk with God, because I do.. daily. I live for the Lord. Painting these past few days have been pure pleasure.
I've never felt more at peace & loved as I stare at Jesus (naked) on the cross.. apparently Jesus was naked, just one more level of humiliation we rarely see to be "politically correct".. Nope, Jesus on the cross SHOULD bring about the feeling of humiliation - for ALL OF US! Humiliated, Jesus died for our sins and we should humble ourselves before this King- definitely before we cheer any 'man made king.
I've mentioned Noah - but before Noah I had to do - Eden. In the garden and I was so excited to get up and continue today I'm paining Eden & Jesus on the cross - surrounded by God and I LOVE IT! Noah is fun but Eden... I have 40 animals in this piece.. a week worth of painting - so far... Below Adam & Eve... also Naked. Naked before they understood sin.
Choose! Stuff or The love of God??! Not a difficult choice in my opinion.
Between us... When you have the LOVE of God first... the rest is provided - just like it PROMISES in the Bible.

How great also is The Chosen! lol. I love sitting and painting at night while watching The Chosen (a few times now) and no, it never gets boring, not for me... I am actually dreading the crucifixion of 'Jonathan Roomie' Jesus. How great that we have this available for us to watch.. instead of FAKES getting FAKE awards for ACTING. Jesus was not acting.
