Say hello to my little friends... God, Adam & Eve in Eden! In the beginning God saw that is was good!
Yay!! My fist photoshoot of the year - outside - hanging out with God & dogs in the woods. It doesn't get much better than that. Adam looks a little chilly, I'm sure he'll survive . lol They make me SMILE! God giving us the 'peace' sign.. heehee
They of course have a background for them to 'hang out on', when not in the forest lol it took a long time.
God created the garden the creatures & Adam & Eve - Male & Female - He created them!
I read: The garden of Eden, or the pre separation condition, was a state of mind in which nothing was needed.
God provided it ALL and then some - How magnificent it must have been, STILL it was not enough, and that's us humans.
We are rarely satisfied, always searching wanting more.. more stuff, more money, more power.
Did you know, it's also the first mention of an angel, told to become a 'bouncer' at the gates of Eden, to keep out the ...disobedient. As far as I know, no-one has ever made it back in. Still, Look at God's Glory - all around!
History and millions upon millions have proven - it will never be enough unless you have God.
When you have God - you indeed have everything. I love Genesis, especially in the beginning ... & now I have a small reminder - without opening my bible. Every piece created (painted with LOVE) I think of something new, these ones stand! Well, a couple are 'wobbly' but the next ones I make won't be. Actually, the next in line/order is Noahs Ark and I created that before this... I'll show you next Sunday.
Actually, I found a video of what some Bible historians speculate and I agree with much of it.. It talks about 'before' Adam. and explains a few of those questions - all who have read have pondered at one point, I know I did. Have a peek if interested. currently I am enjoying myself reading both my KJV and The Ethiopian Bible! I'm comparing bit by bit and am noticing small things but more or less the same - if anything The Ethiopian Bible has a little more details it. I'm just past Noahs , so I have a way to go before I might notice major differences!
I'll pray my next photo shoot comes with leaves! All kidding aside Noah would be perfect now, considering the flooding.
Today we are expecting rain all afternoon and that is concerning, I watched a few videos yesterday about Minden, Bracebridge and Muskoka all already struggling to keep the water at bay, I can't do much BUT pray... prayers change things. I know.

I wanted Eden to be FUN! Colourful, playful, enjoyable and rugged! Little chunky characters for little chunky hands.
Chunky is also easier fo my arthritic hands to hold too - so chunky it is! I tried to include a wide variety from a polar bear to a black bear, elephant, camel, donkey (Christs mode of transportation), a lion - also representing the KING that is to come and the sheep - representing The Lamb of God.. Jesus is not officially 'here' yet - just like in the bible, Jesus Christ is mentioned in the beginning. It all leads to Jesus, eventually. The Jesus idea I have, is exciting me mentally.. notes will be taken before I even think about starting. I think I'll watch The Chosen - again, for reference & relaxation & reminder of LOVE. God = Love, just look at the Garden He created for us. Only Love creates.. the destruction belong to devil.
