PJ's are important - we sleep a lot and we should consider healthy options- even as we sleep.
I only wear cotton P.J's.. I have studied my own body carefully and due to psoriasis - I need to be comfortable to sleep. Red wine is like adding fuel to my skin, the next day I feel pain inside and out where the psoriasis is.. another good reason to give up alcohol! I was given really comfy, pretty PJs for Christmas, polyester. Albeit aware they might irritate an already sensitive skin &so cute- how could I not? So I did and regretted it the next day as my legs and bum itched. NOPE. I went through my closet any PJs that are NOT 100% cotton are now rags. I have many winter pair but no summer, so I searched online... $80.?! For a cotton T & shorts to sleep in!? Come on, that's expensive and didn't include shipping & taxes.. blah blah so I made my PJ.s!
I asked Norm to pick me up mens cotton boxers & Mens white cotton T shirts. Mens because woman's are more expensive.
For the exact same items - women's are always more expensive in my experience. Hair cuts, clothing, pedicures.. all more than men would be expected to pay. I am wearing this around my home & to sleep in, no one will see but perhaps deer or bluejay - still, they are stylish. I am sleeping in them... the number 1 priority is comfort, mens are a bit bigger too.. I get 'M' to be extra comfortable. He brought home the bag of 3 white cotton T's -I think, just under $15. & 3 pair of boxers also the same price. I have 3 new sets of P.J.s for $30.00, no shipping.
Being mens PJs.. one pair has sharks on them - so I quickly made a matching T , for two reasons.. it's fun & now no man will take my T - or boxers because I added blue dots to them too, to 'say: these are mine. lol. Then I added a Jesus loves You T! Of course and the next will be a funny T that made me giggle, I saw on IG. I'll show it, when done. Sleep is important... had I bought the pair on line I thought was cute (I can make anything cute) it would have cost me over:$250.
Make YOUR OWN. Have fun.. Buy a bunch and have a P.J. painting party. I am so done with feeding this consumerism beast, I'm not buying anything I can make.
Cotton or linen... linen is more expensive but I'm seeking so I'll find, eventually.
I asked Arrow for a kiss today and she ran at me & kissed me on my forehead so fast, it almost knocked me off the chair. Dogs are awesome.. you should get one, preferably two.
I then just cleaned my desk - clean mind & desk - Praise Jesus!
