There was signs of snow on the weekend, slushy flakes but enough to make me think... snow. Time for more dogs hanging out in my tiny studio therefore -time to clean my 'creation station!, my tiny studio. In the process I have stored my gouache properly (I'l'l share in a gouache post soon) and given myself more space. I also had an idea! lol. My Christmas gift for a select few is now on my desk! Created out of need - a useful piece of art - already tried and tested successfully, by me! Yay. I'll have them done by the weekend. I like things that also serve a purpose, pretty is nice but pretty & useful is definitely a bonus! And there's more dog space on the floor.
I'm trying to decide how I want to talk about the Bible and I've decided I'll start: In the beginning - heeheehee
Anyone who wants to be a teacher of God can be, all Jesus asks is that we share our knowledge on the Love & Word of God... and find Joy! My Joy is wrapped in paint and dog fur, branches and dirt - easy to find - should I seek! To knock (JUDGE) others using 'specific quotes is missing the point of The Word Of God. It's insulting to minimize the bible to a passage you throw around to try to shame others.. I have 0 tolerance 'to argue' with anyone, who has never read the bible. Using the bible to shame anyone is shameful. There was only ever one perfect, sinless human and he died for us, so that our sins may be forgiven.. Read about all the imperfect sinners God called to GLORY and the Kings that God crushed in an instant. So - this means I'm starting all over (again)! & I'm enjoying myself! I will draw cartoons when they arise to include.
I started this day with a powerful podcast: Diary of a CEO with Brene Brown. She always gets me feeling emotional'... as she shares memories and I realize, 'yep - there you are, It's very normal to be reminded of and triggered by our pasts.' Now, the memories only last a few moments as I realize (and it IS as simple as this) I have paintings, waiting to be painted on my desk! I choose to put myself in the place of creation & joy.. that usually arouses love and appreciation, naturally. I also have become are how powerful it is, when we do this.
Actually... I started this day (I've been up since 5) reading DRUTHERS and as always - the same questions run through my mind: How did I NOT read or hear about this!? - BECAUSE, THEY DON'T WANT US TO know because you will be upset! As WE ALL should be. Read about the police officer who realized the association of infant deaths to (GUESS!) and started to investigate it & was told (more or less) STFU... by our government & powers that be. Read it for yourself. I would want to KNOW! Especially if expecting a grandchild. At what cost is our life to these companies and greed mongers, that potential deadly and severely harms information is intentionally kept from the general public.. profit over people. Read about changes happen in OTHER places around the world. Read about protests all around the WORL with a common denominator - corrupt governments. Do you think it's any different here: "we have a budget to remember"
Did you know Canada has possibly just created a 'Universal blood' supply? Wow!
