Beaver warm up. My warm ups don't take long, less than 1/2 hour and rarely do I have anything sketched.. I just go, play, create. I wanted a cool forest look, the beaver was a last minute decision, just for fun.
Whew- who's glad it's pouring? Me & Athena for sure. A much appreciated break in heat and my rain barrel, to water all my plants was almost empty! It's sure doesn't last as long as you think, 4 hot days and it was running low. It is full again & much cooler. I'm working on my long painting but also tried something out I saw on YouTube that looked 'fun' .. it was.. almost finished, I think I'll try the same technique on a new dog portrait. To think you had to pay, travel and physically GO somewhere to learn to be an artist, now you can learn just about anything on YouTube - FREE, all that is stopping some is - themselves.
The past few days I learned about GROK 4... holy, my brain was racing from -how incredible to how devastating. I'll try to stick with the 'incredible' since that's the direction we are going - FULL speed ahead and there's no turning back. That being said.. When I was a kid adults would say: they are coming to take our jobs'... little did those adults realize 'they' is a machine, not immigrants. Soon the immigrants will be crying - they took our jobs! No one will be protected- well maybe plumbers, electricians and others who will be in demand because of their physical capabilities & Skills. People like 'legal assistants - you're going to be unemployed sooner than you realize. Elon was saying every GROK AI is already PhD level intelligence - and not like humans that get a PhD in one, two perhaps 3 subjects, GROK is PhD level smart in EVERYTHING. It is also getting smarter becoming ASI, better everyday - by itself... I'm not even sure how to respond to that.
So, everything a computer assistant should do - will do and more. GROK 4, AI should make us healthier, make our lives easier, well easier if you still have a job or way of making an income, many jobs from bank tellers to retail sales people are all slotted to be replace by AI, who doesn't complain, doesn't take smoke breaks, doesn't need maternity leave or sick days... and supposably doesn't screw up on the job. Yes, even long distance truck drivers are being replaced by self delivering vehicles. Movie makers- from actors to directors- it will do it all! We have all seen how impressive the AI created commercial are now, how will anyone know what's AI or the real thing- we won't.
I remember not long ago all kids were going to take computer classes - from gaming to code to app. designs - all now can be created, run and advance with GROK, good bye to all those jobs. You are either going to get on board, or be left behind. The universal income for all of $2,000 is coming, it will need to, to deal with the mass shift, mass layoffs... happening NOW, 2030 will look completely different at this rate. Sure, it absolutely will make tasks - now deemed tedious, soon to be redundant. Our taxes should be easier, safer.. good thing because with all the scams and theft- the CRA is not feeling very reliable.
