Circular saw.. Acrylic on metal, 7 inches.
I was finishing my newest (biggest to date) saw, which I am pleased with, it's got that element of imagination and a wee bit of fun too.. but I had left over paint so I decided to grab this blade I had hanging around, and use the left over paint.
This little saw took less that an hour, playing with paint, no sketching, little consideration & sometimes they turn out. The edges are what makes this painting stand out. I'm thrilled this blade, destine for the dump has new life, it would look terrific hanging in a shop somewhere. A pop of paint & imagination, easy peasy. The sun represents God, of course.
The first few days of this year have been visually lovely, if I have to look at snow - I'm glad it's that snow that blankets every branch! It's a postcard -for real. It's lovely but cold, even the dogs only go out for short stints. I saw a turkey on the lawn, where the heck to do they go to keep warm? I read some good news - in Alberta Blue Cross is covering Psychedelic Therapy! Coming to an Ontario near you! That's great news for those who are prescribed medications (typical pills) which are not helping - a new safer option for healing the mind, not confusing and poisoning the brain with pills, proven to rewire and eventually destroy.. and then recalled by the FDA. Change is coming & that's worth celebrating!
